Lady Bulldogs’ season ends with regional loss to Oologah
MIAMI, Okla. — The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs saw their 2024 fast-pitch softball season end with a 4-1 loss to the Oologah Lady Mustangs in the loser’s-bracket final of the Class 4A Regional Tournament on Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Bulldogs ended the season at 1019.
The Lady Mustangs scored once in the first inning and twice in the second inning for a 3-0 lead.
Kaydence Young’s two-out, RBI double scored Jordan Johnson in the fourth inning to cut the Muldrow deficit to 3-1, but that was as close as the Lady Bulldogs got as Oologah scored a big insurance run in the sixth inning. In defeat, Young and Amarie Duran each doubled, while Jaydin Dean and Raegan Newbern singled for Muldrow. Oologah pitcher Jocelyn Leak struck out 11 batters and threw a four-hitter.
Dean (7-9) took the loss, despite getting two strikeouts in six innings.
