Lady Diamonds honored at awards banquet
The 2024 Sallisaw Fast-Pitch Softball Awards Banquet took place Oct. 16 at the Sallisaw High School cafeteria.
The 2024 Sallisaw Fast-Pitch Softball Awards Banquet took place Oct. 16 at the Sallisaw High School cafeteria.
Channing Wilson was named the Offensive Player of the Year, Sydney Weedon the Defensive Player of the Year and Delaney Compton the Pitcher of the Year.
Makenna Bormann was given the Black Diamond Award, while Natalie Gonzalez was named the Newcomer of the Year.
Jaycie Cox was given the Hustle Award, and Madison Green was named the Lady Diamond Player of the Year.
All players — Wilson, Weedon, Compton, Bormann, Gonzalez, Cox, Green, KeLee Curson, Brinley Mills, Teagan Lewis, Preslee Jackson, Promise Flute, Sadie Tyler, Pearl Chang and Alayna Locust — were given Letter S Certificates for participation.
