Connection Summit for Ordinary People is Nov. 4 at ICTC
A Connection Summit for Ordinary People is a special event that brings ordinary people together. Please consider being a no-show if you're extraordinary. It’s kind of like potluck meets game night except with a cooler event name.

The summit will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, at the ICTC multi-purpose building in Sallisaw.
No agenda. Relaxed. There will be a few adult coloring books, and a few game-type-of-things. Warning: There won’t be any sanctioned square dancing. But there might be some Smelly Cat type of live music.
Bring something to share like Caviar and truffles, or chips and Ding Dongs—whatever—just something. Leave politics and controversial topics at home, please (Oh! Or pizza!).
Expect the ordinary. This is the opposite of virtual. Baby B’s, Gen-Xooms, and Mixxenial-types will probably enjoy this the most. If you watched an episode of The Office, Friends, and Seinfeld you’ll fit in. Closet watchers of Breaking Bad, Dexter and Ozark are also welcome.
This is intended for adults. Boring people and the whimsical are equally welcome. Mostly, bring Your Ordinary- ness! There might be a Derek Zoolander runway walk-off challenge, but probably not.
Talk or don’t talk. Chess people, checkers players, and tic-tac-toe experts can come. Intramural people and Xquarterbacks are welcome. Crocs, casual flats, steel-toe boots, and cowboy boots are welcome. Skechers, sneakers, and wingtip people are welcome. Steve Madden (yes); Jimmy Choo? (er, um hmm).
Drop in. Leave. And come back again if you want to.
