Pet calendar photo contest will benefit local animal rescue groups
Your TIMES is hosting a Pet Calendar photo contest to benefit the Sallisaw Animal Care Facility, Sequoyah County Animal Advocates, Barking for a Cause Animal Rescue, and Ahimsa Rescue Foundation. The contest opens for entries at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and will conclude at 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.

The contest opens for entries at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and will conclude at 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.
We encourage everyone to enter their pets, both large and small, whether furry or scaly. The entry fee of $15 guarantees your pet photo a spot somewhere in the 2025 calendar. The entry fee includes five votesa $5 value, and all entrants will receive one copy of the calendar when it is completed.
Additional copies can be pre-ordered during the contest. Votes will cost $1 each, with all voting proceeds being presented to the four animal rescue groups after the conclusion of the contest.
There will be 12 winners! The top 12 vote recipients at the conclusion of the contest will be considered the winners. The pet with the top vote will be the grand prize winner. The grand prize winner will receive a $100 gift card, gift basket, and choice of month their pet is featured on Your TIMES 2025 pet calendar.
The other 11 winners will receive a pet gift and their pet will be featured at the top of a month in the calendar. All entries not placing in the top 12 will be included in the calendar on an honorable mention page, dedicated to our love of all pets.
