RMS students showcase creativity at “You Build It Challenge”
Roland Middle School students in grades sixth through eighth showcased their creativity at the “You Build It Challenge” at ICTC Sallisaw on Nov. 1. This year’s theme, “Presidential Homes: Past or Present,” inspired students to build impressive designs using popsicle sticks.

Winners were:
Sixth grade, third place — Jaxon Teehee, Draken Menendez and Jayden Hignite.
Sixth grade, second place — Esther Good and Braelynn Berry.
Seventh grade, third place — Brenden Weindel, Emma Johnson and Jonathan Street.
Eighth grade, second place — Mackenzie Hooten, Kolee Spoon and Aniyah Embri.
First place, overall Grand Champions — Myah Sevenstar and Crash Denny.
