Angel tree ready Nov. 21

By Annette Crowder

Hello again and welcome to a long over-do article. We were absolutely thrilled with the Halloween turnout and want thank you all so much for stopping by. The residents just loved it and what great costumes this year. The residents talked of it for several days. Special thanks to the Vian FCCLA for the goodie bags. You guys are awesome.

With that being said we are now getting ready for Thanksgiving. The residents have made fall wreaths for their doors and are making several other fall crafts as we so love the fall season.

We still play bingo three times a week. It’s the favorite among most of the residents, unless Gerry Baze is in the house. They so love him. We shop weekly and the ladies love that and going out to eat. Who doesn’t love that.

I will have the Angel Tree up and ready for adoptions on Nov. 21. So if you’re interested the tree will be in the main lobby. Each resident will have an angel with gift suggestions. Please help us make this a season to remember.

Last but certainly not least, we would like to honor our veterans, Art Hayes, U.S. Army; Lee Collins, Marine Corps; and Keith Adams, Army Reserves. We thank you for your service. To all veterans thank you for your service.
