Hamilton elected Republican Caucus Vice Chair

State Senator Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, was elected by the Oklahoma Senate Republican Caucus to serve as the caucus vice chair.

“I’m deeply honored and excited to take on this role at such a pivotal time for our body and our state,” Hamilton said. “I look forward to working as a team with my fellow caucus members as we protect Oklahomans’ God-given, constitutionally-guaranteed rights.

“Furthermore, we have much work to do to advance policies that support growth and development in our state and, very importantly, ensure prosperity for all Oklahomans. I appreciate the caucus for the trust and confidence they’ve placed in me in electing me to serve in this position, and I look forward to continuing our work together to build a strong foundation for Oklahoma’s future and uphold our state’s values.”

Hamilton will work alongside the caucus chair, Sen. Dave Rader, to organize and facilitate caucus meetings. As caucus vice chair, he’ll help keep members informed on key issues, upcoming votes, and legislative priorities.

Additionally, the vice chair will act as a liaison between the caucus members and leadership, ensuring that information is shared effectively within the group and with external stakeholders.

Hamilton has represented Senate District 7 since 2020, which includes communities in Haskell, Latimer, Pittsburg, southern Sequoyah, and northwest Le-Flore counties. He will begin his second four-year term on Nov. 20.
