Sallisaw Takedown Club members place in Tulsa Veterans

TULSA — Several members of the Sallisaw Takedown Club placed in last Saturday’s Tulsa Veterans Day Tournament, which took place at Tulsa Bishop Kelley High School.

Creede Brown was runner-up at 55 pounds in the age 4-and-younger division, while Connor Carrington was second at 60 pounds in the age 6-and-younger division.

Four wrestlers finished third — Kylie Kehl at 80-82 pounds in the novice age 12-andyounger division, Mason Leach at 80 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division, Jaxton Roth at 126 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division and Gatlen Ruminer at 49 pounds in the age 6-and-younger division.

Lucas McAllister was fourth at 126 pounds and Tukker Chase was fourth at heavyweight in the age 15-and-younger division.
