Cowboys open home season with wins over Wyoming, Arizona State
STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State wrestling team downed Wyoming 32-6 Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in front of its largest home-opening crowd in 21 years, then pummeled Arizona State 33-6 on Sunday afternoon at home.

In the win over Wyoming, Troy Spratley (125 pounds), Reece Witcraft (133), Tagen Jamison (141), Cameron Amine (165), Dean Hamiti Jr. (174), Dustin Plott (184), Luke Surber (197) and Wyatt Hendrickson (heavyweight) all got wins on the night.
In the victory over Arizona State, the Cowboys were dominant from start to finish as they won eight of 10 bouts, including six with bonus points, and recorded 28 takedowns to Arizona State’s four.
Hendrickson, Spratley, Jamison, Hamiti Jr., Plott, Surber, Cael Hughes (133 pounds) and Cutter Sheets (157) all got wins for the Cowboys (4-0 in duals this season).
Oklahoma State’s next dual is scheduled for Dec. 13 at Oklahoma but will first take on wrestling’s toughest regular season tournament, the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Dec. 6-7.
