Sallisaw Takedown Club members place at Rumble on the River

VERDIGRIS — Several Sallisaw Takedown Club members placed in last Saturday’s Rumble on the River.

Bailey Gutierrez, wrestling in the girls age 15-and-younger division, won the championship by pinfall.

Eli Matlock (61 pounds, age 10-andyounger division) and Kole Knoke (131, age 10-and-younger division) were runners-up.

Sean Taylor (105-110 pounds, age 12-and-younger novice division) was third, while Creede Brown (55, age 4-andyounger division), Connor Carrington (60, age 6-and-younger division), Kovee Bolin (37, age 6-and-younger division) and Kyler Douglas (61 pounds, age 10-and-younger division) were fourth.
