Hats off to the Bizzy Beez

The Bizzy Beez, a group of women in Sequoyah County who get together once a week to knit or crochet caps and scarves for veterans, newborns, nursing home residents and those in the hospital and donate knitted items to agencies who assist those in need, last week delivered sacks containing 275 hats for Your TIMES’ annual Giving Tree. Your TIMES is accepting donations of hats, scarves and gloves, which will be turned over to Catholic Charities, which will then distribute the items to those in need during the Christmas season. The items on the Giving Tree are donated each year by individuals throughout the community. Donations at Your TIMES office end at 5 p.m. today.
