Spiced Christmas Coffee

This is going to be a full pot of coffee so make sure you have company to share it with.

1 cup dark roast coffee 2 Tbsps. powdered sugar 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon 3 tsps. ground cardamom ½ tsp. ground nutmeg ¼ tsp. ground cloves ⅛ tsp. ground allspice 8 cups water Whipped cream for topping if desired Add coffee, sugar, and spices to coffee filter and prepare coffee as you normally would depending on the style coffee maker you use. Pour coffee into mug and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, if desired.

Note: This is also delicious as iced coffee with added creamer, and it lasts about 2 to 3 days stored in the refrigerator.
