Sallisaw splits games in Henryetta Tournament

Tournament schedule revamped

HENRYETTA — The Sallisaw High School basketball teams split their games on the opening day of the Henryetta Tournament on Wednesday.

The Lady Diamonds defeated the Beggs Lady Demons 57-36, but the Black Diamonds fell 48-37 to the Valliant Bulldogs.

The Lady Diamonds (6-2) will meet the McLoud Lady Redskins at 6 p.m. Saturday with the winner playing the Okemah-Tulsa Metro Christian winner for the tournament title at 6 p.m. Monday. The two losers will play for third place at 3:20 p.m. Monday.
