Dear Editor,
In response to Republican Representative Jim Olsen reintroducing a bill to exhibit the 10 Commandments in every classroom, this is prohibited by the federal and state constitution. The bill was voted down by Oklahomans once already.
Mr. Olsen should be focusing on bringing Oklahoma education level and healthcare from 49th in the country. He uses Louisiana as an example – they are ranked 48th in the country. It looks as though Mr. Olsen’s focus is misguided.
In response to Pastor Mitchell’s (Capitalism, Christianity, and the Constitution) letter to the editor – in his first paragraph, he describes the Trump administration to a T, except he left out felons, rapists, and traitors.
Check out his cabinet picks. NONE are qualified in any respect for their job.
As for Christianity on the rise, I think not; the Christian nationalists put Trump in office and their concept of Christianity is to use it when it suits their needs.
America is in a dark place, and I am not a communist.
