Muldrow Class of 2025 HOF Induction slated tonight
During the home NOAA Conference games against Poteau tonight at Roger Sharp Activity Center, the Class of 2025 Muldrow High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, Archer Ryan and Shannon Watts, will be enshrined.
During the home NOAA Conference games against Poteau tonight at Roger Sharp Activity Center, the Class of 2025 Muldrow High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, Archer Ryan and Shannon Watts, will be enshrined.
Ryan, a 1974 graduate of MHS, participated in football, basketball, baseball and track for the Bulldogs. He attended Northeastern State University where he received his degree in education. He spent 40 years as a coach and teacher for Muldrow Schools, 25 of those years as the head baseball coach where he accumulated more than 300 wins. He remains involved in MHS athletics as he does commentary for football and basketball games.
Watts, a 1986 graduate of MHS, participated in football, basketball and powerlifting for the Bulldogs. He was a standout football player for the Bulldogs, playing quarterback for one the most successful teams at Muldrow. His 1985 team made it to the state semifinal game. He was named NOAA Conference Offensive Player of Year and was selected to participate in the Oklahoma vs. Texas Oil Bowl football game.
