During the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 16 animal calls, 142 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

12:57 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of W. Ruth- RP reported someone was using counterfeit money at Domino’s Pizza. Court Waters responded.

8:53 a.m. – Altercation- In the vicinity of SE 10th St- RP advised that she was in a verbal argument with a family member. Brad Roberts responded.

10:14 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1117 Rd- RP called to report that someone broke into her vehicle the previous night and stole her purse. Daniel Whitus responded.

12:47 p.m. – Information- Unknown Location- RP reported that someone was making threats against people in the area. Dwayne Frizzell responded.

1:38 p.m. – Suspicious Person Garrison Creek Bridge- RP reported that someone was walking around in traffic nearing the bridge, and appeared to be in mental distress. Daniel Whitus and Colton Goff responded.

2:36 p.m. – Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Exit 321- RP advised that a man was walking on the ramp pushing a cart with his belongings. Riley Brooks responded.

3:07 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of the Vian Smoke Shop RP stated that a family member used her debit card, and it was stolen. Kevin Kirk responded.

3:10 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1130 Rd- RP reported that his neighbors had taken down part of his fence without permission. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

4:46 p.m. – Information- In the vicinity of S. Main St- RP reported having found a blue bag in the middle of the road. Chance Yoakum responded.

8:48 p.m. – Drugs- In the vicinity of Oak St- RP stated that she saw a female taking drugs. Richard Matthews, Chance Yoakum and Allen Ramey responded.

10:47 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of Lynn Ln- RP called and reported that her ex-husband was standing outside of her house. Richard Matthews and Chance Yoakum responded.

9:32 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location- RP needed to speak with a deputy regarding the police taking her phone and not returning it. Oliver Colt responded.

12:05 p.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of E. 996 Rd- RP advised that her neighbor has been threatening her. Jarrod Rye responded.

12:09 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of Cottonwood- RP reported that she has a lot of old cars on her property and needed help removing them. Brad Roberts responded.

3:22 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Brushy Cemetery- RP wanted to trespass someone from his property due to them making threats. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:36 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Hwy. 10A- RP requested to trespass someone from their property due to people ignoring their posted signs. Jarrod Rye responded.

5:38 p.m. – Information- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP stated that his vehicle was stolen in September 2024, and wanted to see what he could do. Tyler Engleman responded.

5:55 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4652 Rd- RP reported that a black SUV followed her home and the driver made threats to her. Mark Choate responded.

7:46 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4612 Rd- RP advised that over the past two nights people have shown up in her yard. Mark Choate responded.

9:04 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of Muldrow Showbarn- RP stated that a student slung gravel at her vehicle when leaving. Richard Matthews responded.

7:53 a.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of Redland Rd- RP wanted to make a report of someone making threats against him on Facebook. CJ McGee responded.

8:17 a.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Gardenwalk- RP stated that a tenant refused to leave, despite being evicted. Riley Brooks responded.

11:20 a.m. – Altercation- In the vicinity of W. Mayfield- RP advised that they had a trailer delivered to their property and the delivery truck damaged their yard. Caleb Taylor responded.

12:30 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 997 Rd- RP stated that their fence was damaged by some workers trimming trees next door. Brian Stone responded.

1:57 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of Lynwood Dr- RP reported that someone called and told him that he must pay money or be evicted. The RP thought it might be a scam. Keenan Gibson responded.

3:05 p.m. – Property Dispute- In the vicinity of Clayton- RP reported that she moved out of a family member’s house, and he now is barring her from retrieving the rest of her property. Caleb Taylor responded.

5:42 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1117 Rd- RP stated that her neighbors had been trespassing on her property. Jeff Neighbors responded.

7:19 p.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of S. 4510 Rd- RP reported that someone was shining a light into her window. Cody Jackson, Justin Deuley and Court Waters responded.

01/30/2025

6:53 a.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1125 Rd- RP called to report that her sister’s boyfriend was intoxicated and belligerent. Brian Stone and Shane Petree responded and made an arrest.

12:59 p.m. – Harassment- Unknown Location- RP stated that her child was having a problem with someone at school, and requested to speak with a deputy. Daniel New responded.

3:25 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Tenkiller Lake- RP reported that her neighbor’s dogs were being aggressive towards her. Grant Pruitt responded.

4:06 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of Gore PD- RP requested to speak with a deputy regarding a vehicle that was stolen. Keenan Gibson responded.

7:05 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd- RP reported that a family member, who was previously staying with her, was threatening to damage her property, and requested more police presence in the area to protect her home. Justin Deuley responded.

8:18 p.m. – Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of Geneva Cir- RP stated that there were children inside a vehicle next door that were making a lot of noise. Keenan Gibson responded.

9:32 p.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of Inola Dr- RP reported that someone continued to knock on his door throughout the night. Chance Yoakum responded.

01/31/2025

12:49 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Geneva Cir- RP stated that a man in a blue hoodie came to her house and tried to steal a truck. Brett Visor responded.

9:15 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location- RP stated that someone she knew was arrested, but that she wanted information about when the person would be released. Tracy Christenberry responded.

9:44 a.m. – Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of S. Dogwood St- RP requested more police presence in her neighborhood as someone had recently broken into her cousin’s car. Brad Roberts responded.

10:47 a.m. – Altercation- In the vicinity of Hwy. 82- RP called as he was having a verbal argument with his neighbor. Trevor Charlton, Daniel Whitus and Cherokee Nation Marshal Service responded.

2:23 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy- In the vicinity of Enid St- RP advised that his girlfriend broke up with him, but was not allowing him access to their shared home to retrieve his property. Riley Brooks and Chance Yoakum responded.

6:31 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request In the vicinity of E. 1113 Rd- RP requested a deputy to investigate a black SUV that was parked in her driveway. Mark Choate responded.

6:42 p.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of E. 1020 Rd- RP stated that a vehicle came to her house, honked and flashed their lights. Tyler Engleman responded.

10:48 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Tyler Pl- RP called to make a report of five stolen firearms he believed had been taken by a family member. Allen Ramey, Gary Adams and Mark Choate responded.

02/01/2025

11:52 a.m. – Property Dispute- In the vicinity of N. Stockton Ln- RP advised that the previous owner of her property was claiming some property was still theirs. Daniel Whitus responded.

12:23 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP reported that his vehicle was stolen last September, but the court paperwork was unclear about how to retrieve the vehicle. Tyler Engleman responded.

3:34 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4510 Rd- RP reported that someone had been trespassing on her property on a side-by-side, and possibly damaged her turf. Court Waters responded.

3:49 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Enid St- RP advised that his exgirlfriend was not allowing him inside their shared home to get his property back. James Huggins, Chance Yoakum and Alex Seabolt responded.

4:21 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely- In the vicinity of Low Water Bridge- RP reported that someone was shooting at the bridge. Hunter Hutchinson and Court Waters responded.

4:32 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Stockton Ln- RP advised that someone was at her parents’ house and refused to leave. Chance Yoakum and James Huggins responded.

5:52 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1085 Rd- RP stated that someone stole her tax papers from her car. Allen Ramey responded.

7:00 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of Moonshine Rd- RP needed to make a report about his vehicle being stolen. Tyler Engleman responded.

7:39 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. 1085 Rd- RP called earlier about her tax papers stolen from her car, and wanted to add to the report that whoever stole the documents had now hacked her phone. Allen Ramey and Daniel Whitus responded.

8:28 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1020 Rd- RP advised that an adult family member was living on his property in a tent, and that someone was possibly shooting at them. Tyler Engleman responded.

02/02/2025

1:14 a.m. – Other- Laundry Mat- RP stated that someone was driving in the area with no headlights. Travis Smith responded.

9:36 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy- In the vicinity of S. Bonham Rd RP requested to speak with a deputy as someone came to her property and stole the Christmas lights from her house. Billy Ellis responded.

10:08 a.m. – Information- In the vicinity of Kerr Bridge- RP advised that someone was under the bridge with possible cremated remains. Court Waters responded.

10:35 a.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of SE 7th St- RP advised that someone was going through the neighborhood mailboxes. Jerry Brooks responded.

11:21 a.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of SE 7th St- RP reported that someone had stolen her mail also. Jerry Brooks responded.

2:53 p.m. – Burglary- In the vicinity of S. Caddo St- RP called as she believed someone had broken into her house. Jerry Brooks responded.

3:25 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of S. 4756 Rd- RP reported that someone had hit their garage door with a vehicle. Matt Jones and Daniel Whitus responded.
