Sallisaw FCCLA is state bound
The Sallisaw Chapter FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) have a lot to be proud of and events to look forward to as winter slowly thaws and springtime emerges. On Jan. 23 Adriann Allen, a junior at Sallisaw High School, who serves as her chapter’s vice president and the Noreast District 5 VP of Community Service, recently was given the green light to interview for and make the ballot as an officer candidate for the Oklahoma FCCLA State Executive Council. Adrianna will attend the OK FCCLA State Convention in April and serve on the courtesy corp as an FCCLA District Officer. There, she will wait patiently as student delegates across the state vote for their next year’s leadership council. If chosen to help lead alongside fellow state officers, she will serve the Oklahoma Affiliation at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando this summer.
