3 Sallisaw Takedown Club members place in Wagoner tournament
WAGONER — Three Sallisaw Takedown Club members placed at last Saturday’s Bulldog Open.

Max Linthicum was the champion at 126 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division.
Connor Carrington (60 pounds, age 76-and-younger division) and Jaxton Roth (132, age 15-and-younger) were fourth.
Six other members participated in the event. Finn Morse (52 pounds, age 6-and-younger division), Harbor Hicks (120, age 10-and-younger) and Kole Knoke (131, 10-and-younger) all won two matches each.
Elijah Matlock went 1-2 at 64 pounds in the age 10-andyounger division, while Lincoln Taylor (60 pounds, age 6-and-younger division) and Clayton Warner (110, age 10-and-younger) came up short in all of their matches.
The Sallisaw Takedown Club will be the host organization for this weekend’s Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association Southeast Regional Tournament, which will be Saturday at Paul Post Field House.
