During the week of February 3-9, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 10 animal calls, 149 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports.
Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

02/03/2025
9:15 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4645 Rd- RP reported that a family member stole her vehicle and crashed it. Brian Stone and Mike Stasyszen responded.
10:01 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy Old Vian PD- RP advised that they needed to pick up a police report but could not make it to the new PD. Caleb Taylor responded.
10:49 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 984 Rd- RP reported that his truck was stolen during the night. Shane Petree responded.
10:56 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of NW 2nd St- RP advised that her medication was stolen from her vehicle. Jerry Brooks responded.
12:19 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of SE 6th St- RP stated that their mail delivery service informed them of a package being delivered, but that it was not at their house. Riley Brooks responded.
6:25 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely- In the vicinity of 1st St- RP called to report that a man was walking in the intersection earlier, and now the RP heard gunshots. Chance Yoakum and Richard Matthews responded.
7:04 p.m. – Suspicious Person- Gardenwalk- RP stated that a man walking with baggy jeans and a T-shirt was seen near her vehicle. Caleb Taylor responded.
9:45 p.m. – Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP called to report that a house in the area seemed to have been broken into. Gary Adams responded.
10:48 p.m. – Other- Unknown Location- RP called to inform the police that her son’s phone was stolen and she located it at a nearby house. Kevin Mackey responded.

9:47 a.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of S. 4756 Rd- RP advised that the power company turned her electricity off, and she wanted to file a report. Jarrod Rye responded.
9:51 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 1085 Rd- RP reported that people were trespassing onto her property. Brian Stone responded.
11:03 a.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely- In the vicinity of S. 4650 Rd- RP called to state that they could hear gunshots in their area. Dennis Thomas responded.
11:10 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Hwy. 17- RP reported that a vehicle was in the area that fit the description of one he saw on his property a few days ago. Brian Stone responded.
11:36 a.m. – Fraud- In the vicinity of E. 1007 Rd- RP called to report that someone was trying to scam her out of money via text messages. Jarrod Rye responded.
4:26 p.m. – Altercation- In the vicinity of E. 1128 Rd- RP advised that a man approached her vehicle with a gun, while she was sitting on the side of the road. Brian Stone responded.
5:28 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location- RP stated that he sold his truck to his uncle, who later passed away. Now, the uncle’s children are using the truck and the RP wanted to get it back. Caleb Taylor responded.
6:35 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Hwy. 10- RP stated that she gave her daughter’s phone to the police last year to investigate a harassment complaint, and has not received it back. Justin Deuley responded.
9:26 p.m. – Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of E. Leftwich- RP reported that someone broke into his truck and took things. Cody Jackson and Justin Deuley responded.

11:39 a.m. – Fraud- In the vicinity of E. Lee St- RP called to make a report against her neighbors but couldn’t give further information. Caleb Taylor responded.
12:17 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP advised that his home (under construction) was broken into and items taken. Daniel Whitus responded.
1:04 p.m. – Trespassing- Savannah Park Apartments- RP stated that a previous tenant of the complex was causing issues, and requested to have the subject trespassed. Caleb Taylor responded.
1:08 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of Hunter St- RP sought advice from SCSO in regards to a tenant who was evicted from their apartment, but moved back in and changed the locks. Caleb Taylor responded.
2:49 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Dollar General (Indian Rd.)- RP called as a group of people were causing problems at the store. Tenkiller State Park responded.
3:12 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Hwy. 10- RP reported that ODOT conducted a survey of his land and damaged the property. He requested that ODOT be trespassed. Court Waters responded.
3:19 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4610 Rd- RP advised that someone hit his culvert pipe, and he felt it might have been intentional. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
4:33 p.m. – Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of S. 4670 Rd- RP reported that his grandmother broke into his house. Daniel Whitus responded.

Harassing Phone Calls- In the vicinity of S. Caddo St- RP reported that she had received over 50 phone calls from someone and wanted to know what to do. Kevin Mackey responded.
7:54 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location in Vian- RP reported that he sold a truck to his late uncle, and wanted to know what to do to get the truck back from his uncle’s children. Caleb Taylor responded.
10:49 a.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of S. 4640 Rd- RP stated that a former friend was at the road rudely requesting his property back from the RP. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
1:22 p.m. – Trash Dumping- In the vicinity of E. Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP advised that there was construction garbage all over the road. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
2:09 p.m. – Fraud- In the vicinity of E. 1085 Rd- RP advised that a man was stealing all of her information via her phone. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
2:42 p.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of S. 4720 Rd- RP reported that their neighbor’s children were harassing them. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
5:37 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd- RP stated that her sister stole her puppy. Allen Ramey responded.
7:16 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of S. Ada St- RP reported that two of her friends were fighting with her neighbor, and there were threats of gun violence. Chance Yoakum, Tyler Engleman, Allen Ramey, and Richard Matthews responded.

2:01 a.m. – Disturbing the Peace In the vicinity of W. Vaughn- RP reported that at the end of the street there was some illegal activity happening. David Garvin and Allen Ramey responded.
3:48 a.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Inola- RP called to advise that someone was hitting and kicking her door. Kevin Mackey, Allen Ramey and Alex Seabolt responded.
4:08 a.m. – Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of N. Dennis- RP requested more police presence in their neighborhood due to dogs barking. David Garvin responded.
8:19 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 993 Rd- RP sought police help due to an inheritance issue regarding a house. Shane Petree responded and advised it was a civil matter.
8:24 a.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Old Hwy. 64- RP stated that someone was on his property last night photographing his cattle and truck. CJ McGee responded.
11:37 a.m. – Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4806 Rd- RP reported that his neighbors were leaving trash outside, which was possibly attracting mice. CJ McGee responded.
11:52 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4770 Rd- RP requested to file a report for a stolen vehicle. He stated that a friend borrowed it and never returned it. CJ McGee responded.
2:02 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4621 Rd- RP stated that someone had been getting access to her car via a phone. Brian Stone responded.
2:40 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 1013 Rd- RP advised that her husband was returning to their home, and wanted to know how to trespass him. Brian Stone responded.
4:03 p.m. – Fraud- Unknown Location- RP requested help as she thought she witnessed her sister forging a family member’s name. Shane Petree responded.
8:23 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of Ironwood St- RP reported that her neighbor could not find her car and thought it might have been stolen. Mark Hallum and Alex Seabolt responded.
9:52 p.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of Ironwood St- RP stated that they returned their friend’s car and now the owner and the neighbor were threatening them. Chance Yoakum and Alex Seabolt responded.

7:26 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. 1013 Rd- RP called to get assistance with retrieving his property from his ex-wife’s house. Shane Petree responded.
7:55 a.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1013 Rd- RP stated that her ex-husband was at her house with a trailer, and did not want him on her property. Brian Stone and Shane Petree responded.
9:49 a.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1026 Rd- RP called to report that a female in grey leggings was refusing to leave her porch. Shane Petree and Brian Stone responded.
12:03 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of Shawntel Smith Blvd RP reported that his brother’s girlfriend was arguing with his mom. James Huggins responded.
12:14 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4751 Rd- RP requested to file a report in regards to his mailbox being knocked down. CJ McGee responded.
1:45 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy- In the vicinity of Pretty Village Apartments- RP advised that his neighbors were going into each other’s apartments without permission. Jerry Brooks responded.
4:00 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4760 Rd- RP reported that he was having an issue with his dad, mom and mom’s boyfriend. CJ McGee responded.
4:12 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy- Unknown Location- RP called to ask about legality of leaving a child in a high-chair while moving around the house. Shane Petree responded.
4:32 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location in Muldrow RP reported that her grandsonin- law tried to run her off the road while driving. CJ McGee responded.
6:55 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of SE 7th St- RP (property manager) stated that someone was squatting in a vacant unit. Kevin Mackey and Alex Seabolt responded.
7:32 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Hwy. 82- RP reported that someone had been messing around on his construction site. Charles Webber responded.
9:02 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP advised that his roommate has a motorcycle that he thought might have been stolen. Gary Adams responded.
9:46 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request In the vicinity of S. 4705 Rd- RP stated that his wife went outside and noticed a pickup truck parked in their yard, and wanted to have more police presence in case it returned. Justin Deuley responded.

9:27 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of NE 1st St- RP requested to speak with a deputy regarding someone not paying for services. Jerry Brooks responded.
11:41 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of W. 5th St- RP stated that her husband would not leave their property. Billy Ellis responded.
12:59 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Main St- RP advised that a homeless man had been coming to her home asking for food, but now he has been threatening her. James Huggins responded.
4:28 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of Beverly- RP stated that his neighbor pointed a B.B. gun at her son. Caleb Taylor responded.
5:13 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of N. Main St- RP reported that someone threatened him while allowing them to use their phone charger. James Huggins and Kevin Mackey responded.
6:35 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP reported that three men, walking in dark clothing, were jumping in front of cars. Charles Webber responded.
6:36 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4449 Rd- RP advised that she had been receiving harassing text messages from a man. Charles Webber responded.
7:10 p.m. – Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4806 Rd- RP reported that motorcycles were driving up-and-down the road revving their engines. Justin Deuley responded.
