In the opener, Wells was hitless in three at-bats, while going 0-for-2 in the nightcap.
Through 11 games this season, Wells is hitting .281 with two triples, a run batted in and six runs scored.
Wells and the Lady Mountaineers (4-7), who had Thursday’s road doubleheader snowed out against Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, will return to action at 2 p.m. Tuesday against Crowder College in Fort Scott, Kan.
