9 Sallisaw Takedown Club members place at state

OKLAHOMA CITY — Nine Sallisaw Takedown Club members placed at last weekend’s Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association State Tournament, which took place Friday and Saturday at Jim Norick State Fair Arena.

Two members were state runners-up — Elecktra Locust at 200 pounds in the girls age 12-and-younger division and Harbor Hicks in the age 8-and-younger division.

Gatlen Ruminer (49 pounds, age 6-andyounger division) and Sara Lee (74, girls age 10-and-younger) were fifth, Connor Carrington (60, age 6-and-younger) and Briar James (155, age 15-and-younger) were sixth, Finn Morse (49, age 6-andyounger) was seventh and Mylz Oft (98, age 15-and-younger) and Toren Gates (84, age 12-and-younger) were eighth.
