Former Vian player’s EOSC Lady Mountaineers lose to Crowder, Fort Scott
FORT SCOTT, Kan. — Former Vian Lady Wolverines softball player Maisie Wells and the Eastern Oklahoma State College Lady Mountaineers lost both games played Tuesday, falling 1-0 to Crowder College and 3-2 to Fort Scott Community College.
FORT SCOTT, Kan. — Former Vian Lady Wolverines softball player Maisie Wells and the Eastern Oklahoma State College Lady Mountaineers lost both games played Tuesday, falling 1-0 to Crowder College and 3-2 to Fort Scott Community College.
Wells was 1-for-2 against Crowder and was 2-for-4 against Fort Scott.
Through 15 games this season, Wells is hitting .326 with two triples, three runs batted in and eight runs scored. Wells and the Lady Mountaineers (6-9) will play for the next two days in the Branson (Mo.) Showtime Classic where they will meet Southeastern Community College at 9 this morning, then face Moberly (Mo.) Area Community College at 11 this morning. On Saturday, they will meet Southwestern Illinois College at 8:30 a.m. and Three Rivers Community College at 12:30 p.m.
