During the week of Feb. 17-23, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 17 animal calls, 141 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

02/17/2025

9:08 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Paradise Hill- RP advised that someone stole his construction equipment overnight. Shane Petree responded.

9:10 a.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of N. McConnell St- RP reported that someone drove through his yard and did some damage. Mark Harkins responded.

10:35 a.m. – Other- RP called to advise they were having their parking lot worked on, and in the past, other businesses in the complex have had an issue with it. Brad Roberts responded.

11:57 a.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of Ironwood- RP stated that her neighbor came into her apartment and was messing with her oven. The RP believed that the subject stole her french fries as well. Riley Brooks and Brad Roberts responded.

1:23 p.m. – Harassment- Unknown Location near Gore- RP reported that his wife’s ex-husband had been following them. Shane Petree responded.

1:25 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4545 Rd- RP reported that a boat was on the property she purchased, and she wanted to know if it was stolen. Garrett Fargo responded.

2:16 p.m. – Stolen Property- Unknown Location- RP advised that his bulldozer was stolen. Shane Petree responded.

2:18 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4730 Rd- RP called to report that someone drove through his pasture and damaged both the ground and his fence. Shane Petree responded.

3:53 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 4620 Rd- RP reported that he was having an issue with a passenger in his ride-share car. Brian Stone responded.

3:57 p.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of SW 6th St- RP stated that a family member was being harassed when she retrieved the mail. Richard Matthews responded.

4:05 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location near Gans RP reported that someone was trying to give him a vehicle, and he wanted to see if it was stolen. Brian Stone responded.

6:12 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP reported that he wanted an adult family member removed from his house, due to an argument. Gary Adams and Justin Deuley responded.

6:18 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of SW 3rd St- RP advised that last night, someone stole his keys. Alex Seabolt responded.

6:21 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4749 Rd- RP advised that someone drove on his property and damaged the ground. Justin Deuley responded.

7:23 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP reported her vehicle was stolen from her residence, and said she had proof that someone in particular stole it. Charles Webber responded.

7:32 p.m. – Information- Blackgum Fire Station- RP advised that someone brought him an iPhone they found. Charles Webber responded.

9:33 p.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of S. 4616 Rd- RP called to report that someone was in contempt of court. Gary Adams responded.

12:09 p.m. – Burglary- In the vicinity of Lenington Rd- RP advised that someone stole various construction tools from his house. CJ McGee responded.

12:46 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP reported that someone broke into his home. Shane Petree responded.

2:47 p.m. – Threats- Liberty Schools RP stated that someone was threatening her on Facebook. Grant Pruitt responded.

2:52 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1065 Rd- RP advised that someone was following her children in a black SUV. Garrett Fargo, Brian Stone, Galen Irvin, and Cherokee Nation Marshal responded.

3:10 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location in Gore- RP requested to speak with an officer regarding a truck she had seen earlier, in which the driver was using his phone while driving. Keenan Gibson responded.

4:14 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4490 Rd- RP reported that someone stole $200 from his bank account. Shane Petree and Keenan Gibson responded.

5:35 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP advised that she borrowed a vehicle from a man who was now demanding it back, but she was unable to return it as she was in Stilwell. Justin Deuley responded.

02/19/2025

9:25 a.m. – Property Dispute- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP reported that she purchased a vehicle, but that she and the previous owner were having a disagreement over the title. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

9:58 a.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd- RP stated that people were working in his backyard with camo hats, and he was not sure who they were or why they were on his property. Daniel Whitus and Hunter Hutchinson responded.

10:18 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Ironwood- RP stated that Army guys stole his keys and wanted advice on what to do. Brad Roberts responded.

2:38 p.m. – Burglary- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP stated that all the windows in his vehicle had been busted out. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

3:00 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. 5th St- RP stated that she needed to pick up a police report, but that she was unable to get on the roads due to the snow and ice. Keenan Gibson responded.

4:08 p.m. – Harassing Phone Calls In the vicinity of E. 1140 Rd- RP reported that someone had been calling his wife, her friend, and her family, and was harassing them. Daniel Whitus responded.

4:46 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location in Muldrow RP advised that her husband took her vehicle without permission. James Huggins responded.

5:10 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4756 Rd- RP reported that her daughter had called 911 earlier in the day, and that she was lying. Daniel Whitus and Allen Ramey responded.

5:45 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. Schley- RP reported that she woke up and realized her car had been stolen. Robert Allen and Caleb Taylor responded.

6:46 p.m. – Petit Larceny- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP stated that someone stole flowers from him. Mark Choate responded.

6:52 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP advised that someone broke the windows out of her car and broke into her garage. She asked for more police presence in her neighborhood. Mark Choate responded.

02/20/2025

11:54 a.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP stated that she found her car windows busted out. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

1:16 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Ironwood- RP believed that her boyfriend stole her keys and wanted to make a report. Riley Brooks responded.

6:19 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4612 Rd- RP advised that someone came into her house and took her water heater. Mark Choate responded.

8:05 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of Velma Ln- RP called to report that she was having an argument with someone who was drinking, and requested assistance to calm the situation. Herb Hutchinson, Allen Ramey and Mark Choate responded.

02/21/2025

12:31 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. Ada St- RP reported that his downstairs neighbors were fighting. Brad Roberts, Tim Keith and Riley Brooks responded.

4:53 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd- RP stated that she rents a house in Muldrow and the landlord was attempting to go into her residence without permission. Justin Deuley responded.

5:06 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Mittie Martin- RP called to report that a man in a gray sweatshirt and jeans was walking down the street holding something. Mark Harkins responded.

5:47 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy- In the vicinity of W. Forbus St- RP stated that his girlfriend would not leave his house. Keenan Gibson and Brett Visor responded.

7:19 p.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Indian Rd- RP advised that a man was standing in the middle of the road. Charles Webber responded.

8:14 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1095 Rd- RP called to report that his grandson had stolen his vehicle. Justin Deuley and Gary Adams responded.

10:14 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of the Ball Fields (Sallisaw)- RP stated that she saw a vehicle parked behind the backstop of the baseball field. Kevin Mackey responded.

02/22/2025

7:57 a.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location- RP wanted to report that some POs had been illegally filed against her. CJ McGee responded.

9:04 a.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of Hwy. 141- RP stated that someone broke into his shed and destroyed things. Shane Petree responded.

1:06 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4680 Rd- RP called to make a report about his vehicle having been stolen the previous night. Shane Petree responded.

1:12 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP reported that a white Kia had been parked in the roadway for two days. Shane Petree, James Huggins and CJ McGee responded.

1:17 p.m. – Stolen Property- Dollar General- An employee called to report that they have had two shoplifters today. Jerry Brooks responded.

5:00 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of W. Main St- RP called as she and her daughter were being harassed at the park. Robert Allen responded.

5:02 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1097 Rd- RP advised that someone was at his house and he wanted them trespassed. Justin Deuley responded.

5:52 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of N. Wilson Rock- RP reported that someone had broken into her storage unit. Alex Seabolt responded.

5:53 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely- In the vicinity of S. Fargo- RP called to report that she could hear gunshots near her house. James Huggins and Kevin Mackey responded.

7:32 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle In the vicinity of Pendergrass St- RP reported that there was a white pickup parked near her house with no occupant. Kevin Mackey responded.

7:39 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4680 Rd- RP reported that he had people on his property and did not want them there. Gary Adams responded.

9:49 p.m. – Information- In the vicinity of W. Deveron St- RP reported that his neighbor’s teenagers were having a party with alcohol. Grant Pruitt, Justin Deuley and Gary Adams responded.

02/23/2025

1:43 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Sequoyah Refuge- RP advised that someone shot a gun as they were taking nature photos of the refuge. Grant Pruitt and Shane Petree responded.

4:39 p.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of Birch St- RP stated that his friends harass him every day when they drive by. Kevin Mackey and James Huggins responded.

6:55 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of W. Sequoyah- RP reported that someone was screaming and causing issues with him today. Kevin Mackey, James Huggins and Richard Matthews responded.

7:00 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4680 Rd- RP reported that someone with a bloody head and weapons came onto his property and refused to leave. Charles Webber, Gary Adams and Justin Deuley responded.

7:10 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of Cherokee Rd- RP stated that an unknown man came to his house and saw his Ring doorbell camera, and left. James Huggins responded.
