During the week of Feb. 24 – March 2, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 20 animal calls, 135 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

02/24/2025

12:47 a.m. – Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4513 Rd- RP called to advise that a man in the house behind her was playing music in his metal shed, and the noise was too loud. Justin Deuley and Charles Webber responded.

1:11 a.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of Steve Owens- RP reported that her spouse was yelling at her. Charles Webber responded.

6:08 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of S. Caddo- RP advised that her juvenile neighbors had her phone and refused to return it. Chance Yoakum responded.

3:32 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of S. 4700 Rd- RP stated that a family member posted her banking information on social media. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

5:27 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 954 Rd- RP advised that her neighbor ran her vehicle off the road. Tyler Engleman responded.

8:10 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 976 Rd- RP reported that someone has been removing parts off his mobile home and harassing him. Mark Choate responded.

8:57 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of Ironwood- RP called to report that her neighbor was harassing her and claiming she was doing illegal things in her home. Richard Matthews and Kevin Mackey responded.

02/25/2025

9:47 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4737 Rd- RP reported that someone borrowed his motorcycle the previous day and refused to return it. Wade Hall, Hunter Hutchinson and Court Waters responded.

10:35 a.m. – Property Dispute- In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd- RP reported that he was having a dispute with his son-in-law regarding the location of a piece of equipment that was placed on the RP’s easement. Wade Hall, Hunter Hutchinson and Cherokee Nation Marshal Services responded.

10:48 a.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd- RP requested assistance with a roommate who she says was stealing things from her. Hunter Hutchinson and Wade Hall responded.

11:39 a.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. Dogwood- RP advised that someone cut the padlock on his metal building. Riley Brooks responded.

11:52 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd- RP reported that his gun was stolen about two weeks ago. Wade Hall and Hunter Hutchinson responded.

1:10 p.m. – Information- In the vicinity of E. Shawntel Smith Blvd- An employee at a store in Muldrow called to report that a man was inside breaking things. Brad Roberts responded.

1:28 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4595 Rd- RP stated that her boyfriend cut the chain on her gate. Court Waters responded.

2:18 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Old Hwy. 64- RP advised that a white Chevy pickup had been sitting at the property for a while, and requested it be moved. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

3:59 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of I-40, Exit 321- RP reported that a man in a white Mustang pulled up alongside of him and started an argument. Alex Seabolt and Richard Matthews responded.

5:56 p.m. – Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of Lenington St- RP reported that two weeks ago his home was broken into, and he now wanted to make a report. Allen Ramey responded.

6:21 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy Unknown Location- RP inquired if there was a report made against someone near the Muldrow School. Alex Seabolt responded.

11:25 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Main St- RP stated that someone stole her bike, but then returned it and started a fight. Alex Seabolt and Richard Matthews responded.

02/26/2025

12:07 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. Redwood- RP advised that she and her father were at the salvage yard and the owners wanted them trespassed. Brian Stone responded.

1:16 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1020 Rd- RP advised that someone came to her residence and took tools, weapons and other items. Brian Stone and Shane Petree responded.

1:41 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of E. Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP reported that her neighbors were fighting. Riley Brooks and Brad Roberts responded.

1:46 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy- In the vicinity of S. Illinois St- RP requested an update on a case she reported to the police last month. Kevin Kirk responded.

4:01 p.m. – Trash Dumping- In the vicinity of E. 1136 Rd- RP advised that two pickups were driving on county roads with trailers full of trash. CJ McGee responded.

4:23 p.m. – Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of SE 10th St- RP requested assistance due to a dog barking all day next door. Richard Matthews and Alex Seabolt responded.

4:38 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. Hunter St- RP called to report he had someone at his home who he would like trespassed. Mark Harkins responded.

7:03 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. Caddo St- RP advised that someone took a wheel of copper from his house. Alex Seabolt responded.

8:13 p.m. – Altercation- Wildhorse Towing- An employee called to request assistance with a disgruntled customer. Mark Harkins responded.

9:01 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of S. 4690 Rd- RP advised that her grandchild’s father was at her house harassing her. Justin Deuley and Gary Adams responded and issued a verbal trespassing order.

9:10 p.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 100- RP requested officers investigate his neighbor’s controlled burn as he heard yelling. Charles Webber responded.

9:42 p.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64B- RP reported that his neighbor made threats to burn down his house. Justin Deuley responded.

11:39 p.m. – Information- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP advised that he logged into his computer and was able to access all of the city’s files, and thought there might have been a data breach. Gary Adams and Justin Deuley responded.

02/27/2025

7:50 a.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4595 Rd- RP advised that her property was broken into and items taken. Brian Stone responded.

8:21 a.m. – Threats- Triton Health An employee called as they had a patient who was upset and causing a scene in the office. Kevin Kirk responded.

8:58 a.m. – Fraud- Unknown Location- RP, an employee at a local bank, called because a former employee had stolen the company credit card after being terminated. Shane Petree responded.

9:39 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd- RP found an orange balloon in his pasture that said “Do Not Touch- Flammable Gas. Call Law Enforcement if found.” Brian Stone and Brad Taylor responded.

12:47 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP reported that a company used his business’s services and did not pay. Brian Stone responded.

2:49 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. KCS Rd- RP reported that someone has stolen items from her property and cut the lock on her gate. Brian Stone and CJ McGee responded.

2:49 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 1130 Rd- RP requested to speak with a deputy regarding an incident that happened a few nights prior. Brian Stone responded.

6:23 p.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of S. Caddo- RP stated that three juveniles were in her backyard behind her shed. David Garvin responded.

9:07 p.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of E. Lee St- RP reported that a woman was looking in her windows. David Garvin and Charles Webber responded.

10:13 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request In the vicinity of E. 987 Rd- RP advised that a vehicle with loud music was driving down her road. Charles Webber responded.

11:34 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Hwy. 100- RP stated that she saw a flatbed truck leaving the Boys Ranch with no lights on. Charles Webber responded.

11:45 p.m. – Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of SW 6th St- RP reported that her neighbor’s dog was barking and upsetting her. Kevin Mackey responded.

02/28/2025

3:47 p.m. – Suspicious Person Muldrow Corner Store- RP advised that a man came into the store and seemed to be half asleep, acting strangely. Chance Yoakum responded.

5:59 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of S. 4762 Rd- RP advised that he could smell burning plastic in the area outside of his home. Daniel Whitus responded.

2:03 p.m. – Property Dispute- In the vicinity of S. 4530 Rd- RP stated that someone was at her residence loading items that did not belong to them. Court Waters responded and advised that it was a civil matter.

3:46 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4758 Rd- RP reported that her child, while on the school bus, filmed a neighbor holding a gun on his porch. The RP wanted to make a report as she was upset her child witnessed it. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:58 p.m. – Property Dispute- In the vicinity of E. 1044 Rd- RP advised that her son’s father was at her property refusing to give her son’s property back. Daniel Whitus responded.

4:03 p.m. – Fraud- In the vicinity of S. 4613 Rd- RP stated that someone stole her identity. Court Waters responded.

5:24 p.m. – Harassing Phone Calls In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd- RP called to advise that her ex was harassing her over the phone. Daniel Whitus responded.

5:52 p.m. – Harassment- Dollar General, Hwy. 64- An employee called to report that her landlord calls her at work and harasses her. Mark Choate responded.

10:10 p.m. – Harassment- Unknown Location- RP called to seek information about how to stop a friend passing onto her harassing messages from another friend. Tyler Engleman responded.

11:15 p.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of S. 4590 Rd- RP requested more police presence in her area as she saw a vehicle stop outside her home, sit for a few minutes, and then leave. Mark Choate responded.

03/01/2025

1:36 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of W. Brown St- RP advised that a pickup drove by his house several times before parking on the side of the road. Allen Ramey responded.

2:28 a.m. – Other- Unknown Location- RP reported that someone parked their vehicle behind his shop with their lights on. Allen Ramey responded.

7:17 a.m. – Other- Gardenwalk- RP called as her apartment was filling with water. Mark Harkins responded.

9:13 a.m. – Information- In the vicinity of S. 4597 Rd- RP advised that his brother came into his house and stole his work boots. Court Waters responded.

9:21 a.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4760 Rd- RP stated that an intoxicated man was at his house trying to fight him. Court Waters and Daniel Whitus responded.

12:46 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4549 Rd- RP requested to file a report of vandalism as someone stole his mailbox last week. Grant Pruitt responded.

2:29 p.m. – Information- Unknown Location- RP called and said that, while at the bank, they found a debit card in the parking lot. Mark Harkins responded.

3:14 p.m. – Fraud- In the vicinity of E. 1009 Rd- RP advised that they had been scammed out of money and wanted to file a report. Grant Pruitt responded.

6:08 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd- RP stated that he recently gave money to a man who was selling him a pickup, but the man had not given him the truck yet. Allen Ramey responded.

6:26 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of Ash St- RP reported that his neighbors were yelling and cursing at each other. Mark Choate and Allen Ramey responded.

6:32 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of W. Williams- RP requested information about how to obtain a P.O. Mark Choate responded.

8:05 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4600 Rd- RP reported that he was going to retrieve his personal property from a family member’s house, but was uncomfortable going alone. Mark Choate responded.

9:03 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd- RP advised that a neighbor came to his house and tried to fight him. Mark Choate, Tyler Engleman and Allen Ramey responded.

03/02/2025

9:15 a.m. – Information- In the vicinity of S. 4760 Rd- RP stated that someone was staying in an abandoned house down the street from her house. Daniel Whitus responded.

2:48 p.m. – Harassment- In the vicinity of S. Birch St- RP advised that a boy on his bike was yelling at her. Jerry Brooks responded.

2:56 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP called to report that someone was refusing to leave their property. Jerry Brooks responded.

4:08 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. 960 Rd- RP reported that while walking her dog, she found a syringe in the street. Court Waters responded.

4:27 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Chestnut- RP requested help getting into her house as she locked herself out while walking her dog. Caleb Taylor responded.

11:55 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 958 Rd- RP advised that a small sedan drove by her house several times. Tyler Engleman responded.
