Think on these things

By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

Feelings are strange things. Some of them lead us to do exactly the wrong things. Some are purposely designed to draw us away from the right path. Our thought is to try whatever it is and if it is wrong. we will stop it. But if we didn’t know it earlier. why will we know it after we have erred?

Feelings are strange things. Some of them lead us to do exactly the wrong things. Some are purposely designed to draw us away from the right path. Our thought is to try whatever it is and if it is wrong. we will stop it. But if we didn’t know it earlier. why will we know it after we have erred?

Test feelings and hold them up to the light of right and wrong. If we have one whit of reason in us we will knw not to be foolish. Some do things simply because they can–and no one has the right to tell them what we can or can’t do. But we have the right to tell ourselves and if we are being wise, we will pay attention.

Is this “fuddy-duddy” thinking? No, but ignoring the truth can make us duds.
