The Wolverines (2-3) scored once in the first inning and broke open the game with five-run sixth inning.
For the contest, Chris Cheater doubled with a run batted in, Riley Ellis doubled and Drake Collins hit a sixth-inning, three-run triple and scored once in the five-run rally for Vian.
In defeat, Ryker Miller and Aidan Sainer each doubled for the Tigers (2-2).
Hardy Buzzard (0-2) suffered the loss, despite fanning three batters in 5.2 innings. Waylen Campbell got the final out in the sixth inning.

Elliott Kunkel (1-0) got his first win of the season in relief, going the final 1.2 innings with two strikeouts. Brutus Robinson started and went the first four innings with eight Ks, then Luke Pierce got the first out of the fifth inning by strikeout.

Friday at Central High School, the Tigers jumped out to a 3-1 lead after an inning and 5-1 after two innings. After the Wildcats cut their deficit to 5-3 after three innings, the Tigers put the game into run-rule status with a six-run fourth inning.
For the game, Ryker Miller was 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored, Aidan Sainer was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Kyle Harden was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored, Hardy Buzzard doubled with two runs scored and an RBI, Paitton Merrill doubled with an RBI and a run scored and Campbell tripled with an RBI and a run scored.
Kiefer Bailey (1-0) got the win, going all five innings with six strikeouts.

Monday evening at Hilldale High School in Muskogee, the Bulldogs (1-4 overall, 0-2 in District 4A-8 play) were three-hit by Hilldale pitcher Chad Parks, who struck out 10 Bulldogs.
The Hornets scored four runs in the first inning, three runs in the second inning and eight runs in the third inning for a 15-0 lead.
A two-run fourth inning put the game into run-rule status.
In defeat, Gabe Miller, Jackson Phillips and Wyatt Prewett each singled for the ’Dogs.
Hayden McKinster (1-1) suffered the loss, lasting only an inning with three strikeouts. Brody Israel went the next 1.2 innings with two strikeouts, then Miller went the final 1.1 innings.

Saturday at Spiro, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings.
After the Wolverines scored once in the third inning to cut the deficit to 5-1, Spiro got that run back in its half of the frame to regain a fiverun lead at 6-1 after three innings.
The Wolverines scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings, but their rally fell short.
In defeat, Michael Polecat was 2-for-4 with a run scored, while Kaden Fulbright was 2-for-3 with a run scored for Vian.
Fulbright (0-2) suffered the loss, despite fanning five batters in six innings.

Friday evening in Muldrow, the Bulldogs trailed 3-1 after an inning, 6-2 after two innings and 9-3 after three innings. A three-run fourth inning for the visitors put the game into run-rule status.

Hardy Buzzard took the loss, lasting 2.2 innings with two strikeouts. Miller went the next 1.1 innings with a strikeout, while Harden went the final inning with a strikeout.

Thursday in Paris, Ark., after the hosts scored twice in the fifth inning to tie the game at 5-all to send the game into extra innings, Paris scored once in the eighth inning for the come-from-behind victory.
In defeat, Brody Israel doubled, while Wyatt Prewett and Hayden McKinster each singled for Muldrow’s hits.
Prewett (0-1) suffered the loss in relief. After McKinster started and went the first 1.1 innings with three strikeouts, Jonah Claborn went the next 6.1 innings with 10 Ks.
