The Black Diamonds jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, which became a 6-1 advantage after two innings.
After the Patriots cut their deficit to 6-5 with a fourrun third inning, the Black Diamonds scored four runs in the fourth inning and twice in the fifth inning for a 12-5 lead.
For the game, Luke Pack was 2-for-2 with a double, four runs scored and a run batted in, Dagan Grizzle was 2-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored, Brodie Cameron was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, his first homer of the season, and three RBIs and Creed Nelson doubled with three RBIs and two runs scored for Sallisaw.
Easton Wolfe (1-0) got the win, going the first 2.2 innings with four strikeouts. Cameron went the next two innings with three Ks, followed by Grizzle pitching the next 1.1 innings with a strikeout. Rylan Eagle went the final inning with a strikeout.
CENTRAL 7, GORE 6
Tuesday afternoon at Central High School, the Tigers (3-2) scored three runs in the home half of the seventh inning to snatch the win away from the Pirates (3-1), who had scored three runs in the top of the frame to take a 6-4 lead.
For the game, Paitton Merrill was 2-for-4 with a run batted in and a run scored, while Waylen Campbell doubled with two RBIs for Central.
Kiefer Bailey (2-0) got the win in relief, getting a strikeout in the seventh inning. Campbell started and went the first 4.1 innings with three Ks. Ryker Miller then went the following 1.2 innings with three strikeouts.
In defeat, James Brasuell was 2-for-5 with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored, Gage Dame was 2-for-4 and Tate Brooksher doubled with an RBI and a run scored for Gore.
McKennon McElhaney (0-1) took the loss in relief, going the final 2.1 innings with two strikeouts. Brasuell started and went the first 4.1 innings with six Ks.

Tuesday afternoon in Pocola, the Wolverines (3-3) got a combined four-hitter from Manny Terrill and Clayton Thomas.
Terrill (1-0) pitched the first four innings with four strikeouts, then Thomas pitched the fifth and final inning with a strikeout.
The Wolverines scored twice in the first inning and once in the third inning for a 3-0 lead. After the Indians scored once in the third inning to cut their deficit to 3-1, the Wolverines scored five runs in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth inning to put the game into run-rule status.
For the game, Draighton Fletcher was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Michael Polecat doubled with three runs scored and a run batted in, Terrill doubled with an RBI and Riley Ellis doubled with three runs scored and an RBI for Vian.

Tuesday in Muldrow, the Hornets stung the Bulldogs (1-5 overall, 0-3 in District 4A-8 play), who scored three runs in the first inning to knot the game at 3-all, with a seven-run second inning to take a 10-3 lead. An eightrun sixth inning put the game into run-rule status.
In defeat, Gabe Miller doubled, while Wyatt Prewett and Jack Rhodes each singled for the ’Dogs.
Prewett (0-2) suffered the loss, going the first 2.1 innings. Jonah Claborn went the final 3.2 innings with three Ks.
