Golfers get season underway at Invitational
POTEAU — Local high school boys golf teams got their 2025 seasons underway in Wednesday’s Muldrow Boys Invitational, which took place at Wolf Mountain Country Club.

The host Bulldogs saw two golfers medal as Wyatt Prewett was fifth and Hayden McKinster was seventh.
As for the rest of the Bulldogs, who finished third as a team with a score of 365, Parker Livens shot a 94, followed by Jace Prewett with a 98 and Jack Rhodes with a 104.
As for individuals for the ‘Dogs, Caden Grinstead shot a 118, followed by Chris Phelps with a 121 and Tripp Rozell with a 129.
Two Sallisaw Black Diamonds participated as Lee Smith had a 137 and Christian Ellis had a 139.
Four Roland Rangers saw action on Wednesday, with Brady Edmondson carding a 90, followed by Avery Moya with a 106, Keegan Knapp with a 117 and Jalen Armer with a 123,
