Gore gets road win over Gans

The Gore Lady Pirates got the week off on the right plank as they got a 15-3 fiveinning road victory over the Gans Lady Grizzlies on Monday evening.

The Gore Lady Pirates got the week off on the right plank as they got a 15-3 fiveinning road victory over the Gans Lady Grizzlies on Monday evening.

After the Lady Grizzlies (3-7) scored twice in the fourth inning to cut their deficit to 7-3 after four innings, the Lady Pirates (4-7) scored eight runs in the fifth inning to put the game into run-rule status.

For the contest, Maddison Douglass was 4-for-4 with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored, Kennedy Williams was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored, River Shoemake was 2-for-3 with four runs scored and two RBIs, Peyton Curran was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored and Hallie Brewer doubled with two RBIs and a two runs scored for Gore. Mylee Bruce (4-7) got the win.

In defeat, Gabbie Price was 2-for-3 with a double, while Maddie Freeman was 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI for the Lady Grizzlies, whose Friday home doubleheader with Indianola was rained out and has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. April 10. Destiny Phillips (2-5) took the loss.

CENTRAL 14, MCCURTAIN 6

Monday afternoon at Central High School, the Lady Tigers (4-5) snapped a three-game losing streak with the victory.

After the Lady Bulldogs took a 3-1 lead in the top of the second inning, the Lady Tigers erupted for a seven-run second inning and a six-run third inning for a 14-3 lead to put the game into run-rule status.

For the contest, Ayrland Jiles was 3-for-3 with a double, her second home run of the season which was an inside-the-park shot, four runs batted in and three runs scored, Charlie Petree was 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored, Brianna Taylor was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, Brenleigh Allen was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Alyvia Warner was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored, Jhaselyn Gonzalez tripled with two RBIs and a run scored and Camryn Gilliam hit her first homer of the season, a two-run inside-the-park homer, and three RBIs for Central. Riley Rowland (4-5) got the win.

STILWELL 9, VIAN 3

Monday afternoon in Vian, the Lady Indians (6-2) relied from a 2-1 secondinning deficit by scoring four runs in the fourth inning, twice in the fifth inning and single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to take a 9-2 lead.

In defeat, Kala Gibbins was 4-for-4 with a double, Aliyah Tucker was 3-for-3, Rayleigh Terrill was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Eden Gilbert was 2-for-3 with a run batted in and a run scored and Aubree Craighead tripled with an RBI and a run scored for the Lady Wolverines (4-5). Terrill (4-5) suffered the loss.

MULDROW 18, MORRIS 5, 3 INN.

WARNER 12, MULDROW 4 Monday afternoon at the Fort Gibson Tournament, the Lady Bulldogs (33), whose game Friday afternoon at Spiro was rained out and will not be rescheduled, split their two games on the day.

In the win over Morris, the Lady Bulldogs put away the game with a 10run first inning.

For the contest, Amarie Duran was 2-for-3 with three runs batted in and two runs scored, Amaya Duran was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored, Riah Keenan was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and two run scored and Jaydin Dean doubled with two RBIs and a run scored for Muldrow. Dean (3-3) got the win.

There was nothing more reported on the Warner game by press time.

LEFLORE 14, WEBBERS FALLS 1, 3 INN.

Monday at Eual Carter Sports Complex, the Lady Warriors (4-8) lost both games of Monday’s doubleheader.

In the opener, the Lady Savages took control of the game early with a six-run first inning and a four-run second inning for a 10-0 lead. After the Lady Warriors scored their lone run in the second inning to cut the deficit to 10-1, the Lady Savages scored four runs in the third inning to put the game into run-rule status.

In defeat, Bentley Ward was 2-for-2 for Webbers Falls. Lextyn Chappell (2-3) took the loss.

In the nightcap, the Lady Savages, who trailed 4-1 after three innings, scored three runs in the fourth inning and six runs in the fifth inning to take a 10-4 lead in the fifth inning.

In defeat, Chappell was 3-for-3 with a run batted in and a run scored, Bridgette Baer was 2-for-2 with two runs scored, Ward was 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored, Karla Bonilla was 2-for-2 with a double and Kendra Kimble was 2-for-2 with an RBI for Webbers Falls.

Chappell took the loss, despite recording two strikeouts.

KEOTA 15, GANS 5, 4 INN.

Thursday at Keota, the Lady Lions, who trailed 1-0 in the first inning, took control of the game by scoring five runs in the first inning and three runs in the second inning for an 8-1 lead. A two-run fourth inning put the game into run rule status for Keota.

In defeat, Gabbie Price was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while Amarys White was 2-for-2 for Gans. Destiny Phillips took the loss.

STILWELL 10, MULDROW 2, 5 INN.

OKTAHA 16, MULDROW 7, 6 INN.

Thursday afternoon at Oktaha, the Lady Bulldogs lost both games in their three-way.

In the loss to Stilwell, the Lady Indians scored five runs in the first inning and once in the second inning to take a 6-0 lead after two innings, which became a 9-0 advantage by the fourth inning.

In defeat, Kaydence Young doubled with a run batted in, while Jaydin Dean tripled with a run scored for Muldrow. Dean took the loss.

In the loss to Oktaha, the Lady Tigers rallied from a 7-4 fifth-inning deficit by scoring nine runs in the fifth inning for a 13-7 lead after five innings. A three-run sixth inning put the game into run-rule status.

In defeat, Amarie Duran was 3-for-3 with two runs scored, while Amaya Duran was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored for Muldrow. Dean took the loss.
