A Muldrow man is charged with possession and distribution of child and juvenile pornography following an investigation by local authorities and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

Daniel J. Earley, 24, was charged on March 25 in Sequoyah County District Court and received a $20,000 bond. He pled not guilty to the charge and is now set for a 9 a.m. April 30 felony disposition docket before Associate District Judge Kyle Waters.

OSBI Special Agent Chantz Jackson reported he was assigned the case on Dec. 17, 2024, after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received information that Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) had been uploaded to an individual’s computer and/ or phone between the dates of July 23, 2024, and March 11, 2025.

Four videos containing images of an infant and a prepubescent female were allegedly found and identified as child pornography by the agent.

The IP address of the individual who allegedly uploaded the pornographic images was found to be connected to a residence in Muldrow, according to the probable cause affidavit filed in the case.

After OSBI obtained a search warrant for the pornographic images, a total of 11 videos containing reported sexual acts between infants, children and adults were found.

On March 11, OSBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, along with the Payne County Sheriff’s Office, Sallisaw Police Department, and Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the Muldrow residence.

During an on-scene preview, four compilation photos of CSAM with approximately 24 images per photo were located on Earley’s iPhone. Several of the photos were of nude prepubescent female children.

District Attorney Jack Thorp said if convicted of the crime, Earley faces imprisonment for not more than 20 years or a fine of not more than $25,000, or both fine and imprisonment. Thorp said persons convicted under this section are not eligible for a deferred sentence.
