Former Sallisaw football coach to be among 13 inductees into OCA Hall of Fame
Former Sallisaw Black Diamonds football coach Virgil Terry, who coached the Black Diamonds from 2003-07, will be among 13 former coaches to be part of the Class of 2025 to be enshrined into the Oklahoma Coaches Association Hall of Fame on July 26 at the Southern Hills Marriott Hotel in Tulsa.

Terry will be joined by Wagoner’s Joe Gordon, Muskogee’s Theodore “Ted” Clement, Pawhuska’s Duke Atterberry, Midwest City Carl Albert High School’s Mike Corley, Tulsa Cascia Hall High School’s Bob Craig, Bartlesville’s Steve Hesser, Dale’s Harold Jones, Broken Arrow’s Randall King, Piedmont’s Steve Lykes, Sapulpa’s Rick Patterson and Tuttle’s Matt Surber.
