03/17/2025 - 03/24/2025 During the week of March 17-24, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 18 animal calls, 160 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

During the week of March 17-24, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 18 animal calls, 160 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

03/17/2025

9:57 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4623 Rd- RP advised that their camper trailer was on a family member’s property and the family member sold the trailer to someone else. RP requested to speak with a deputy. Shane Petree responded and advised it was a civil matter.

10:56 a.m. – Animal- In the vicinity of Cherokee St. and Mayfield- RP advised he was walking down the road and a dog came off someone’s porch, trying to bite the RP. RP said the dog continued to follow him but the owner did come out and take the dog to the back yard. Kevin Kirk responded.

3:17 p.m. – Harassment- Unknown Location- RP advised someone has been harassing them for two years and would like to speak with an officer regarding the situation. Kevin Mackey responded.

3:31 p.m.- Animal- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd- RP said her daughter had been bitten by an injured dog while trying to help it, and didn’t know if the dog was up-todate on its shots. RP wanted to know the next steps. Wade Hall responded.

5:01 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of S 4485 Rd- RP is in Fort Smith but is receiving threats from an individual who they believe is blackmailing them for bail money. RP said they received the messages while still in Sequoyah County, and is continuing to receive them. Grant Pruitt responded.

6:16 p.m.- Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of S 4498 Rd- RP advised someone was breaking into the back door of a cabin and is unsure if they have weapons. Justin Deuley and Herb Hutchinson responded.

6:49 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of E Sequoyah- RP advised that a family member had just charged at him with a sharpened bamboo stick. Richard Matthews responded.

7:49 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle Main St- RP called earlier to report that they believed someone had been following them since they left Oklahoma City. The RP said they were now following the vehicle in front of the Muldrow PD. RP was told to stop following the vehicle and to pull over. Kevin Mackey responded.

9:54 p.m.- Assist- S 4550 Rd- RP, from Union Pacific, reported that a train had hit a pedestrian in the area. Justin Deuley, Grant Pruitt and Gary Adams responded.

10:54 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of Moonshine Rd- RP requested a deputy respond to a disturbance. As the call continued, deputies were dispatched and the RP walked away. The RP then requested the deputy drive through the area because “it was over.” Gary Adams responded.

03/18/2025

9:25 a.m. – Trespassing- S 4760 Rd RP advised there were people trespassing on their grandparents’ property. CJ McGee, Wade Hall and Galen Irvin responded. Verbal trespass order was given.

10:37 a.m. – Trespassing- Randall St- RP advised they had handprints all over their car and would like an officer. Mark Harkins and Kevin Kirk responded.

11:21 a.m. – Welfare Check- McConnell St- RP advised they spoke with their sister and she planned on coming to her residence today but now, she cannot get ahold of her and she has not made it to the residence. Mark Harkins and Kevin Kirk responded.

12:44 p.m. – Complaint- Unknown Location- RP advised a liquor store employee was intoxicated while working and calling them names. Riley Brooks responded.

2:06 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP stated that someone was breaking merchandise after the store manager told them not to smoke inside the building. Brad Roberts and Riley Brooks responded.

5:41 p.m. – Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP advised of a suspicious vehicle that was driving around. James Huggins responded.

7:40 p.m. – Assistance- Unknown Location- RP advised that he is stranded at the trout stream and is unsure of where he is. He has his 3-year-old child with him. Charles Webber responded.

10:49 p.m. – Vandalism- In the vicinity of Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP advised a male wearing a plaid shirt and shorts was attempting to get into vehicles. James Huggins and Richard Matthews responded.

03/19/2025

12:12 a.m. – Prowler- S 4701 Rd- RP said they hear someone outside their residence and they might be messing with his truck. Justin Deuley responded.

2:50 a.m. – Suspicious Person Hwy. 17 and Seq. Little Farms Multiple RP’s reported two individuals were possibly lying in the roadway on Hwy. 17 and at least one of them was wearing a black hoodie. Justin Deuley and Gary Adams responded.

2:56 a.m. – Assault- Near Sparks Corner Store- RP said her son was assaulted at an unknown location by two males and as she was driving there, she saw two people walking. RP said she asked them if they’d been fighting anyone and the two took off on foot. Justin Deuley, Gary Adams and Sallisaw PD responded.

9:59 a.m. – Vandalism- Marval Camp- RP advised their windshield had been busted. Court Waters responded.

10:24 a.m. – Domestic- S 4758 Rd Cherokee Nation reported receiving a call from a female stating that her mother had called her saying that the brother was chasing her around he residence with a knife, and she is now unable to get ahold of the mom. Daniel Whitus responded.

2:16 p.m. – Argument- E 1056 Rd- RP advised a neighbor had come onto her property and said something rude to her sister regarding a package and they got into a verbal argument. Parties are currently separated. Daniel Whitus responded and gave a verbal trespass order.

7:00 p.m. – Altercation- Ray Fine Park- RP advised there were a big fight happening in the park. Tyler Engleman and J. Biggs responded.

9:17 p.m. – Welfare Check- 4823 Rd- RP stated a vehicle stopped and a person got out. RP said the person appears to be scared and walking toward Moffett School. Allen Ramey responded.

03/20/2025

10:23 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown Location- RP advised their grandparent could hear people outside their residence the night prior. Now the grandparent has found an earring and other stuff in the yard. Jerry Brooks responded.

1:14 p.m. – Speak with Deputy- E 979 Rd- RP advised they had been having problems with vandalism and harassment, requested extra patrol. Court Waters responded.

3:50 p.m. – Property Dispute- Near Gore- RP advised a neighbor had been paying a family member’s taxes and they believe the neighbor is trying to take over the property. Court Waters responded and advised it was a civil matter.

5:05 p.m. – Disturbance- S 4725 Rd- RP said an unknown male came to their door and was arguing. The man then pulled out a firearm and pointed it. Alex Seabolt, Richard Matthews, Daniel Whitus, Court Waters, Hunter Hutchinson, and Allen Ramey responded.

5:43 p.m. – Animal- S 4469 Rd- RP said the neighbor’s dogs came back to their property and killed more of their chickens. They have it on video and would like to speak with a deputy. Tyler Engleman responded.

5:43 p.m. – Stolen Property- S Caddo- RP advised the day before that someone in a black pickup pulled up behind the house and stole a camper trailer and all the other personal items that were around it. Kevin Mackey responded.

6:07 p.m. – Extra Patrol- S 4612 Rd RP said someone came to their residence on a bicycle that was wearing a backpack that contained drugs. RP said they told the person to leave the property and would like extra patrol. Mark Choate responded.

9:29 p.m. – Fire- Mill St- RP said someone had lit a fire and then left. David Garvin responded.

9:49 p.m. – Fire- Tenkiller State Park- RP advised the people in the cabin next to them were being loud and had a large fire going. They said the park is currently under a burn ban and the RP requested a deputy to come and talk to them. Tyler Engleman responded.

10:22 p.m. – Suspicious Person Marble City Lime Plant- RP advised a man was walking southbound of the Lime Plant wearing a hoodie and carrying a stick, trying to flag traffic over. Mark Choate responded.

03/21/2025

1:56 a.m. – Suspicious Person- SW 5th St- RP believed someone was outside their home and that they took off running. Chances Yoakum responded.

1:37 p.m. – Disturbance- Ironwood Rd- RP said their son and his girlfriend were refusing to get out of her car and she is requesting a deputy. Riley Brooks responded.

1:42 p.m. – Fraud- Grant and N Stacey Ave- RP said they received a notification regarding money being sent to his ex’s daughter through an app, and he is unsure as to what to do. CJ McGee responded.

03/22/2025

3:03 p.m. – Traffic- E 1126 Rd- RP wanted to speak with a deputy about a FedEx driver almost running over her after delivering her package to the wrong address. CJ McGee responded.

3:07 p.m. – Disturbance- S 4755 Rd- RP stated that a family member pointed a firearm at him. RP is currently in a bedroom with the door shut and has the firearm with him. CJ McGee and Shane Petree responded.

3:39 p.m. – Medical- E 1080 Rd- RP said someone was trying to load lawnmowers with a Bobcat and it had flipped over, pinning their legs underneath. Shane Petree and Craig Edgmon responded.

5:00 p.m. – Welfare Check- Muldrow Ponds- RP stated a man walked down to the pond with a dog tied to a baby stroller. The dog then pulled the stroller and the baby in it into the pond. The man did get the baby out and was now beating the dog. Kevin Mackey and Alex Seabolt responded.

6:30 p.m. – Fire- S 4530 Rd- RP reported two females inside a silver car were setting fires. RP advised the vehicle started the fire and then left the area. RP requested the fire department. Charles Webber responded.

7:42 p.m. – Animal- E 1030 Rd- RP advised a deputy came to her house yesterday because her neighbor’s cow was in her pasture. The deputy spoke with the cow’s owner who said they were fixing the fence, but now the cow was back in the RP’s pasture. Justin Deuley responded.

03/23/2025

12:36 a.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafe- 505 S Main- RP heard what she believes to be a gunshot north of her residence, which are near apartments. Andy McConohy responded.

7:48 a.m. – Disturbance- Ironwood RP said a family member had taken her wallet and locked it inside the car. Now the family member and two females are walking down the road in an unknown direction. Chance Yoakum and Brad Roberts responded.

8:20 a.m. – Vandalism- Hwy. 59- RP wanted to make a report concerning someone shooting his windows out of a vehicle. RP thinks they know who did it. CJ McGee responded.

9:43 a.m. – Prowler- S 4625 Rd- RP believes people are coming to their residence and spraying chemicals on the property. RP also believes someone may have been under their trailer and would like a deputy to check it out. Shane Petree responded.

3:12 p.m. – Animal Welfare Check Muldrow Park- RP advised a woman was walking the trails dragging a dog. Jerry Brooks responded.

3:23 p.m. – Information- Muldrow Ball Fields- RP wants to report there is someone watching the children play that they believe is a sex offender. The RP said they were not comfortable with the man being there. Jerry Brooks responded.

4:00 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle Maple St- RP advised they were outside playing ball and witnessed someone pull up to their neighbor’s residence and take their mail from their mailbox. Richard Matthews responded.

4:37 p.m. – Animal Out- S 4725 Rd RP advised that their neighbor’s goats keep coming onto their property and attacking them when they are outside. CJ Mc Gee responded.

5:58 p.m. – Fight in Progress Muldrow Park- RP advised that there was about seven boys at the park that were trying to fight one individual that was playing ball. Kevin Mackey and Richard Matthews responded.

6:17 p.m. – Vandalism- Unknown Location- RP advised her husband’s vehicle was vandalized at church and they needed to make a report. Kevin Mackey responded.

03/24/2025

6:18 a.m. – Assist- Unknown Location- OHP requested a deputy check a vehicle that was partially off in a ditch and the roadway. Daniel Whitus responded.

8:34 p.m. – Assault- Brook St- RP advised that a family member called and said her son had punched her in the face and took off walking in unknown clothing. Daniel Whitus responded.
