Winners named in Board of Education, Municipal General Election

The names of those who took the majority of the vote in Tuesday’s election, winning a seat on their local school board, municipality or town, have been released by the Oklahoma State Election Board.

The names of those who took the majority of the vote in Tuesday’s election, winning a seat on their local school board, municipality or town, have been released by the Oklahoma State Election Board.

These results will not include provisional ballot results until after 5 p.m., April 4.

Results shown here are subject to contest and recount and are neither final nor official until they are certified by the appropriate election board. Unless a contest of election or a petition for recount has been filed, results will be certified by county election boards not earlier than 5 p.m. Friday, April 4.

Election results are as follows:

• Brushy Public School, Office No. 2:

David L. Philpot, 60 votes or 68.97% of the vote;

Dewain Barker, 27 votes or 31.03% of the vote.

• Central Public Schools, Office No. 5:

Roger D. Crawford, 73 votes or 68.87% of the vote;

Sarah Adams, 33 votes or 31.13% of the vote.

• Gans Public Schools, Office No. 5:

Jeremy H. Taylor, 66 or 60% of the vote;

Johnathan Barger, 44 or 40% of the vote.

• Indian Capital Tech Center, District 4, Office No. 5:

Ginger Knight, 603 votes or 54.77% of the vote;

Andrew Theodore, 498 votes or 45.23% of the vote.

• Town of Gore, Office No. 2 (four-year term):

Robin Henry, 90 votes or 69.23% of the vote;

Shawn L. Cowart, 40 votes or 30.77% of the vote.

• Town of Muldrow, Office No. 1 (unexpired):

Russell Davis, 53 votes or 65.43% of the vote;

Shawn Hope, 18 votes or 22.22% of the vote;

Luke Cox, 10 votes or 12.35% of the vote.

• Town of Roland, Office No. 1 (unexpired):

Fran Whitsitt, 90 votes or 66.18% of the vote;

Andrea Byrd, 46 votes or 33.82% of the vote.

• Town of Roland, Office No. 2 (four-year term):

Lyle Parman, 78 votes or 58.65% of the vote;

Jason L. Riggs, 33 votes or 24.81% of the vote;

Angela McCormick, 22 votes or 16.54% of the vote.

• Town of Roland, Office No. 4 (four-year term):

Dean Myers, 105 votes or 77.21% of the vote;

Jerrad Myers, 31 votes or 22.79% of the vote.
