Muldrow gets road win over Vian

The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs picked up a road win, beating the host Vian Lady Wolverines 13-6 on Tuesday evening at Armstrong Park.

The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs picked up a road win, beating the host Vian Lady Wolverines 13-6 on Tuesday evening at Armstrong Park.

The Lady Bulldogs (5-5) scored three runs in the first inning, twice in the second inning and once in the third inning for a 6-0 lead. The Lady Wolverines (4-8) cut their deficit to 6-2 with a two-run third inning but got no closer.

For the game, Danica Tune was 4-for-4 with a triple, a run batted in and a run scored, Amaya Duran was 3-for-4 with a double and two home runs — her second and third homers of the season — to go with five RBIs, Amarie Duran was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Kaydence Young was 2-for-3 with a double, her second homer of the season, three runs scored and two RBIs and Riah Keenan was 2-for-4 with a run scored for Muldrow. Jaydin Dean (5-5) got the win.

In defeat, Tressa Sandlin was 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored, Kala Gibbins was 2-for-4 with a run scored, Eden Girty was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Aubree Craighead doubled with two RBIs and a run scored, Kaidence Roark doubled and Rayleigh Terrill hit her third homer of the season — a tworun shot in the sixth inning. Terrill (4-8) suffered the loss.

GORE 16, GANS 6, 4 INN.

Tuesday afternoon in Gore, the Lady Pirates (6-8) put away the game early with a 10-run first inning. A run in the fourth inning put the game into runrule status.

For the contest, Sophie O’Connor was 3-for-3 with two home runs, her first two homers of the season, five runs batted in and three runs scored, Kennedy Williams was 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored, Maddison Douglass was 2-for-3 with a run scored and Hallie Brewer doubled with two RBIs and a run scored for Gore. Mylee Bruce (6-8) got the win.

In defeat, Abigail Leach was 2-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored for the Lady Grizzlies (3-10). Destiny Phillips (2-6) took the loss.

PORUM 17, WEBBERS FALLS 0, 4 INN.

Tuesday afternoon at Eual Carter Sports Complex, the Lady Panthers (9-8) broke a scoreless tie with a three-run second inning and a five-run third inning for an 8-0 lead. A nine-run fourth inning put the game into run-rule status.

Porum pitcher Mesa Coulson tossed a two-hitter as a single apiece from Bridgette Baer and Bentley Ward was all the offense the Lady Warriors (4-11) could muster. Lextyn Chappell (2-6) took the loss.
