EUFAULA: April 11. Elevation is three feet above normal and rising. The water temperature is 58 degrees and murky. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, lipless baits and plastic baits around channels, points, riprap and rocks. White bass good on crankbaits, hair jigs and jigs around channels, creek channels and discharge. Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows and spoons around brush structure, coves, docks and flats. GREENLEAF: April 15. Elevation is two feet above normal and falling. The water temperature is 58 degrees and clear. Largemouth bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits and plastic baits around brush structure, docks, rocks and shallows. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, minnows and worms around creek channels, docks, flats and main lake. Crappie good on jigs, minnows and worms around brush structure, docks and shallows. LOWER ILLINOIS RIVER: April 11. Elevation is eight feet above normal and rising. The water temperature is 53 degrees and clear. Rainbow trout slow on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures and worms around creek channels, shallows and shorelines. COMMENTS: Fishing slow due to flood discharge of 9,500 cubic feet per second (CFS) from dam. Report submitted by Jerry Henry, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.
ROBERT S. KERR: April 12. Elevation is normal and stable. The water temperature is 58 degrees and murky. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, rogues, small lures, spinnerbaits, tube jigs and worms around brush structure, channels, coves, points, riprap, river channel, shallows, shorelines and weed beds. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, punch bait, shad and stinkbait below the dam, channels, creek channels, flats, inlet, river channel, river mouth and tailwater. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs and minnows around brush structure, channels, creek channels and standing timber. Report submitted by Allen Couch, game warden stationed in Haskell County.
TENKILLER: April 14. Elevation is 1.5 feet above normal and falling. The water temperature is 58 degrees and stained. White bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, small lures and spinnerbaits around channels, creek channels and river channel. Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, sassy shad and tube jigs around brush structure, docks and main lake. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure, channels, points and shorelines. WEBBERS FALLS: April 15. Elevation is a foot above normal and falling. The water temperature is 58 degrees and stained. Paddlefish fair snagging below the dam, river channel and river mouth. Blue and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait and shad below the dam, coves, flats, shorelines and tailwater. Striped and white bass good on flukes, jigs, sassy shad and small lures below the dam, creek channels, main lake, river channel and shorelines.
