Local tracksters, Lady Tigers’ mile relay win titles at Inola

INOLA — Two local track athletes as well as the Central Lady Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team all claimed championships at Friday’s Inola Invitational.

INOLA — Two local track athletes as well as the Central Lady Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team all claimed championships at Friday’s Inola Invitational.

Sallisaw’s Kayli Macon took gold in the 200-meter dash (27.02 seconds), while teammate Ava Armstrong was sixth (29.28) and Muldrow’s Chloee Clark was ninth (29.48). Macon was third (16-4) and teammate Hannah Palmer was ninth (15-1) in the long jump.

Muldrow’s Teaguen Collins won the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.75 seconds, with Sallisaw’s Cooper Cox runner-up (51.25 seconds) and Central’s Gavin Randolph fourth (51.51).

Collins was second in the high jump (6-2), long jump (20-1) and the 200-meter dash (22.89 seconds). Central’s Braxin Goodson was sixth in the 200-meter dash (24.18).

The Central Lady Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team of Paris Campbell, Cambree Bair, Jhaselyn Gonzalez and Alyvia Warner won the event with a winning time of 4:22.08. The Sallisaw Lady Diamond’s foursome of Kylie Holt, Josie Martin, Kambrey Coffman and Sydney Weedon was fifth (4:29.71).

The Lady Diamonds 400-meter relay team of Natalie Gonzalez, Macon, Emma Martin and Armstrong was runner-up (52.47 seconds), while Central’s quartet of Gonzalez, Kinly Lovell, Keeley Poindexter and Kaitlin Clark was 14th (55.89).

Sallisaw’s Sama Salinas was second in the 3,200-meter run (10:38.94), Coffman was runner-up in the 800-meter run (2:28.3) and Warner was second (49.98) and Weedon seventh (52.46) in the 300-meter hurdles.

The Lady Diamonds’ 800-meter relay team of Macon, Jazmyne Wright, Palmer and Armstrong was third (1:50.09), while Central’s foursome of Campbell, Poindexter, Bair and Warner was seventh (1:55.94).

The Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team of Randolph, Dillon Miller, Goodson and Noah Buzzard was fourth (3:32.89).

Central’s Cole Holcomb was fourth (41-6.5) and Sallisaw’s Caden Blount was fifth (41-0) in the shot put.

In the girls’ 3,200-meter relay, Central’s squad of Campbell, Ryleigh Pierce, Xhayla Mosby and Bair was fifth (11:17.7) and Sallisaws’s quartet of Coffman, Wright, Holt and Josie Martin was sixth (11:35.09).

The Black Diamonds’ 3,200-meter relay team of Ish Patel, Jonas Reid, Tae Muskrat-Flynn and Salinas was fifth (9:19.22), while the Black Diamonds’ 400-meter relay team of Julius Lemon, Cooper Cox, Kenyan Hill and Cooper Jackson was sixth (45.51 seconds).

In the boys’ 800-meter relay, Sallisaw’s team of Hill, Cooper Cox, Lemon and Jackson was fifth (1:34.94), while Central’s quartet of Randolph, Jake Woods, Goodson and Buzzard was ninth (1:36.12). Buzzard was fifth in the 800-meter run (2:09.51).

In the girls’ discus, Sallisaw’s Delaney Compton was fifth (108-0.5), Sallisaw’s Aubrey Webb was seventh (99– 2), Muldrow’s Amaraya Keenan was eighth (93-9.5), Muldrow’s Maysi Fields was ninth (93-0), Sallisaw’s Macie Gremillion was 10th (90-11), Muldrow’s Jensi Fields was 13th (88-7) and Vian’s Emery Smith was 18th (80-5).

In the boys’ 300-meter hurdles, Gore’s Davon Mannon was fifth (41.78 seconds), Goodson was sixth (42.27), Gore’s Weston Cunningham was 13th (44.18), Gore’s Trenton Cunningham was 17th (46.14), Sallisaw’s Tyler File was 19th (47.51) and Sallisaw’s Talon Flynn was 24th (51.87).

Bair was sixth (1:04.72), Campbell was 14th (1:06.92), Muldrow’s London Hardin was 17th (1:07.66), Muldrow’s Landy Pacheco was 23rd (1:09.56), Gore’s Amelia White was 24th (1:09.69), Sallisaw’s Michelle Laudan was 25th (1:09.72), Sallisaw’s Molli Blount was 26th (1:10.11), Muldrow’s Tiphany Martinez was 31st (1:11.88), Gore’s Rayleigh Moore was 34th (1:12.98) and Sallisaw’s Casey Brackett was 38th (1:15.16) in the 400-meter dash.

In the 3,200-meter run, Muldrow’s Genna Stephenson was sixth (14:19.82), Muldrow’s Emma Fields was ninth (14:46.53), Muldrow’s Isabelle Rogers was 13th (15:52.14) and Central’s Madison Jones was 15th (17:16.71).

Genna Stevenson was seventh (6:26.04), Emma Fields was 13th (6:55.03), Mosby was 18th (7:07.08), Central’s Rileigh Ford was 22nd (7:31.57), Gore’s Ricki Huckbay was 24th (7:32.72) and Rogers was 25th (7:39.94) in the 1,600-meter run.

In the girls’ 100-meter hurdles, Weedon was eighth (18.2 seconds), Warner was 12th (19.08), Sallisaw’s Chloee Nelson was 14th (19.42) and Vian’s Kylie Covie was 30th (28.26), while Vian’s Brooke Byers was eighth in the high jump (4-4).

Weston Cunningham was eighth (16.42 seconds), Mannon was 13th (17.16), Trenton Cunningham was 14th (17.2), Tyler File was 15th (18.38) and Flynn was 21st (21.37) in the 110-meter hurdles, while Sallisaw’s Jace Holman was 13th in the shot put (36-6).

In the girls’ 100-meter dash, Natalie Gonzalez was ninth (13.64 seconds), Chloee Clark was 12th (13.74), Emma Martin was 17th (14.06), Kaitlin Clark was 18th (14.07), Jhaselyn Gonzalez was 24th (14.34), Muldrow’s Kylynn Miller was 31st (14.58), Vian’s Annie Neal was 42nd (15.04), Nelson was 42nd (15.04) and Gore’s Sophie O’Connor was 48th (15.49).

In the girls’ shot put, Smith was 10th (30-10), Webb was 11th (30-3), Sallisaw’s Channing Wilson was 14th (29-11), Gremillion 19th (28-9), Gore’s River Shoemake was 27th (26-0.5) and Maysi Fields was 30th (25-5).

Reid was 11th (12:02.7), Muldrow’s Kendal Howell was 15th (12:36.23), Muldrow’s Parker McLane was 17th (12:46.68) and Sallisaw’s Dawson Glover was 18th (13:02.19) in the 3,200-meter run.

In the girls’ 800-meter run, Vian’s Blazi Dieter was 11th (2:45.35), Martinez was 13th (2:48.63), White was 16th (2:50.46), Pierce was 22nd (2:53.65), Vian’s Carmen Rautenberg was 23rd (2:53.69), Muldrow’s Gracie Prewett was 24th (2:56.55), Vian’s Eva Lee was 29th (2:58.53), Huckbay was 37th (3:09.35), Sallisaw’s Emma Coury was 41st (3:13.64) and Vian’s Keira Ballesteros was 47th (3:19.69).

Hill was 12th (11.82 seconds), Central’s Aidan Sainer was 25th (12.16), Sallisaw’s Bo Brackett was 26th (12.18), Mannon was 30th (12.22), Gore’s Cole Brooksher was 31st (12.26), Trenton Cunningham was 49th (12.75), Muldrow’s Gabe Smalley was 51st (12.79), Central’s Aiden Cawhorn was 55th (12.91), Vian’s Ricky Wolfe was 60th (13.17) and Central’s Brycen Chandler-Eisman was 63rd (13.34) in the 100-meter dash.

In the boys’ 200-meter dash, Vian’s Ethan Pollock was 12th (24.41 seconds), Weston Cunningham was 21st (25.06), Sallisaw’s Sean Laudan was 22nd (25.08), Sainer was 27th (25.45), Brooksher was 28th (25.64), Lemon was 30th (25.7), Bo Brackett was 31st (25.73), Vian’s Braxton Drake was 43rd (27.21), Smalley was 47th (27.6) and Chandler-Eisman was 57th (28.1).

In the girls’ 300-meter hurdles, Vian’s Tina Rautenberg was 14th (55.45 seconds) and Josie Martin was 20th (58.59), while Chloee Clark was 14th (14-6) and Natalie Gonzalez was 17th (13-9) in the long jump.

Bo Blackett was 15th (16-11) and Muldrow’s Luke Stevenson was 25th (16-2) in the long jump.

Reid was 16th (5:28.46), Glover was 18th (5:37.69), Howell was 21st (5:43.68), McLane was 23rd (5:56.48), Muldrow’s David Keenan was 31st (6:43.8) and Central’s Rowan Contente was 34th (6:55) in the 1,600-meter run.

In the boys’ discus, Sallisaw’s Austin File was 17th (102-4) and Gore’s Marcus Scott was 18th (100-4), while Vian’s Kyle King was 18th (5-0) and Tyler File was 23rd (4-10) in the high jump.

In the girls’ 200-meter dash, White was 20th (30.06 seconds), Vian’s Sidney Cox was 21st (30.12), Holt was 22nd (30.17), Kylynn Miller was 26th (30.35), Lovell was 41st (31.96), Gore’s Gracie Bruce was 49th (32.76), O’Connor was 53rd (34.01), Central’s Haylei Hensley was 56th (36.01) and Kaitlin Clark was 57th (37.76).

Vian’s Austin Wilson was 23rd (58.51 seconds), Woods was 24th (58.53), Drake was 32nd (1:00.55), Cawhorn was 34th (1:01.05), Sallisaw’s Ethan Wilhite was 36th (1:01.6), Luke Stevenson was 43rd (1:04.03) and Wolfe was 44th (1:05.02) in the 400-meter dash.

In the boys’ 800-meter run, Patel was 29th (2:31.46), Luke Stevenson was 32nd (2:32.62), Sallisaw’s Alex Gregory was 36th (2:34.36) and David Keenan was 44th (2:50.56).

In the boys’ team standings, the Bulldogs were eighth with 36 points, the Black Diamonds 10th with 28 points and the Tigers were 15th with 20 points.

In the girls’ team standings, the Lady Diamonds were fifth with 61 points, the Lady Tigers were 10th with 33 points and the Lady Bulldogs tied for 20th with a point — thanks to Genna Stephenson’s sixth-place finish in the 3,200-meter run.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Thursday’s Warner Invitational, which was to feature the Vian and Webbers Falls track athletes, was rained out and will not be rescheduled.
