Sallisaw, Roland, Muldrow boys compete at Heavener Invitational (UPDATE)
POTEAU — All of our local boys golfers competed in the Heavener Boys Invitational, which took place Thursday at Wolf Mountain Country Club west of Poteau.

For the Sallisaw Black Diamonds, Lee Smith had a 113, followed by Bo Qualls with a 115 and Christian Ellis with a 134.
The Roland Rangers and the Muldrow Bulldogs each not only had individuals compete, but they also competed as a team.
The Rangers finished seventh in the team standings with a team score of 381.
The Rangers had three of their five golfers shoot below 100 as Kylan White had an 88, while Avery Moya and Brady Edmondson each carded 92s. Keegan Knapp had a 109, while Jalen Armer shot a 119.
The Bulldogs were 10th with a team score of 423.
Caden Grinstead had the best day as he shot a 101, followed by Wyatt Prewett with a 104, Jace Prewett with a 107, Hayden McKinster with a 111 and Parker Likens with a 112. As an individual, Jack Rhodes also shot a 112.
Next up for the Rangers, the Black Diamonds and the Bulldogs will be their respective regional tournament, where either as a team or as individuals they will try to qualify for state.
The Rangers will be at the Class 3A Regional Tournament today at Heritage Hills Golf Course in Claremore, while the Black Diamonds and the ’Dogs will be at the Class 4A Regional Tournament on Thursday back at Wolf Mountain Country Club after being postponed today due to threatening weather.
SALLISAW LADY DIAMONDS COMPETE IN REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
The Sallisaw Lady Diamonds golfers competed at last Wednesday’s Class 4A Regional Tournament at Wolf Mountain Country Club.
Teagan Lewis shot a 141, while Ellie Milteer withdrew after a ninehole score of 162.
The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs did not compete in the regional tournament at Wolf Mountain Country Club, nor did the Roland Lady Rangers compete in the Class 3A Regional Tournament in Sapulpa.
Thus, the high school girls golf season has come to a close.
