During the period of April 15-21, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 32 animal calls, 187 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports.

Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

04/15/2025

12:27 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of S. 4760 Rd.- RP advised his mailbox is repeatedly getting damaged and he would like to make a report. Wade Hall responded.

2:07 p.m. – Animal Welfare Check In the vicinity of E. 970 Rd.- RP requesting a check on horses, there was three, now only two. RP believes one has died. There are also several dogs on the property. Shane Petree responded.

3:48 p.m. – Stolen Property- Hwy. 101- RP advised someone stole their 5th wheel trailer and also broke into their house and stole things. RP would like to press charges. Brian Stone responded.

6:25 p.m. – Animal Out- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd.- RP said their neighbor refused to put up their dog and puppies where they will stay off the RP’s property. They (dogs) have also been eating her cat food. She has told the neighbors multiple times. Jeff Neighbors responded.

7:58 p.m. – Other- In the vicinity of S. 4680 Rd.- RP advised his neighbor’s car caught on fire and he ran out of the vehicle and asked the RP to call the SO. Fire department has been paged out. Jeff Neighbors responded.

9:34 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle Near El Lago, Gore- RP advised a silver 4-door sedan has pulled in several times, pulls out and then burns their tires going toward the nursing home. There, the driver then spins out, throwing gravel on vehicles. J. Biggs responded.

04/16/2025

12:42 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Liberty area- RP wants to speak with someone about him letting his baby mama borrow his car for a year. The car is now broken down, the tires are flat, and the RP is unable to retrieve it. RP said baby mama is threatening to leave it in the street to be towed. RP wants to know his options. Jeff Neighbors responded.

1:03 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle Corner of Ash and 7th St.- RP advised there is a vehicle that should not be there. Chance Yoakum responded.

8:24 a.m. – Breaking and Entering W. Sequoyah St.- RP advised her sister’s back door appears to be kicked in. She would like some assistance checking the residence because the sister is not at home. Brad Roberts and Tim Keith responded.

8:46 a.m. – Stolen Property- SCSORP wants to file a report because her ex stole her Playstation. Craig Edgmon responded.

4:40 p.m. – Animal Out- Brushy Lake- RP advised there is a brown horse out by the Brushy Lake entrance. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

5:12 p.m. Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of S.E. 10th St.- RP advised a male driving a newer model blue F150 is driving too fast and reckless through the neighborhood. Muldrow PD responded.

5:57 p.m. – Missing Person- In the vicinity of S. 4439 Rd.- RP advised her daughter has taken off again and this time, she has been gone for about three hours. Tyler Engleman responded.

6:09 p.m. – Welfare Check- In the vicinity of E. 1020 Rd.- RP advised their spouse was having a violent, manic attack, so they left the residence with the children and will be driving around. Grant Pruitt and Brian Stone responded.

6:11 p.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4759 Rd.- RP needs to make a stolen gun report. Gary Adams responded.

04/17/2025

2:59 a.m. – Accident with unknown Injuries- I-40 E.B. MM 331- RP advised a semi has rolled over and is blocking both lanes of travel. Gary Adams, Matt Jones, Shane Petree and Grant Pruitt responded.

3:42 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 5th St.- RP advise that someone stole her red Chevrolet Duramax with all her belongings inside. RP advised the location showed it to be near I-40 in Webbers Falls before the location was turned off. Tyler Engleman responded.

7:11 a.m. – Behind Vian PD- RP advised a property located behind the PD has several goats and one of them has their head stuck in the fence. Mark Harkins responded.

7:41 a.m. – Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of N.W. 2nd St.- RP advised that there is a male subject named Buddy that keeps walking in the neighborhood, and the RP would like extra patrol in the area. Brad Roberts responded.

9:38 a.m. – Speak with Deputy- E. Shawntel Smith Blvd.- RP wants to make a report on an unauthorized use of a vehicle. Brad Roberts responded.

11:10 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 5th St.- RP advised that her husband stole her vehicle last night and that they are legally still married. Tracy Christenberry responded.

3:45 p.m. – Argument- In the vicinity of S. Dogwood- RP advised family members are screaming and yelling inside the house, and that the RP’s baby is inside the residence. James Huggins, Richard Matthews, Brad Roberts and Tim Keith responded.

5:33 p.m. – Fight in Progress Muldrow City Park- RP advised there are a group of teenagers at the park by the bathrooms that looked like they were going to fight. Andy McConohy responded.

6:45 p.m. – Extra Patrol- Sequoyah Fuels- RP advised he’d like extra patrol in the area. There are two boys on 4-wheelers driving up and down the road, and RP is afraid they might try and break in. Tyler Engleman responded.

8:13 p.m. – Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4765 Rd.- RP would like to speak with a deputy about requesting information on how they can get someone trespassed from their property. Gary Adams responded.

9:24 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle- Hwy. 101- RP stated a family member borrowed his 1973 Jeep CJS and he’s just seen on Facebook that the family member has sold the Jeep. Tyler Engleman responded.

04/18/2025

9:36 a.m. – Trespassing- Unknown Location- RP advised someone moved a camper trailer and two dogs onto his land days ago and he asked them to leave. The person still has not left. Wade Hall responded.

10:35 a.m. – Trespassing- Muldrow PD- RP wants to speak to an officer about trespassing on his property. Riley Brooks responded.

2:33 p.m. – Animal Bite- Cantwell’s Store- RP advised they were being attacked by two aggressive dogs at the store. The RP had to hide in between two trucks to get away, and the dogs ran into a building by Cantwell’s. Riley Brooks responded.

3:14 pm. – Other- Muldrow PDRP advised there was debris in the road in front of the PD, and needs an officer to remove it. Brad Roberts responded.

3:54 p.m. – Vandalism- E. 966 Rd. RP is requesting a deputy call in regards to the process of filing charges of vandalism. Jimmy Carson responded.

4:37 p.m. – Breaking and Entering- E. 976 Rd.- RP reported a breaking and entering, vandalism, involving bullets and ammo the last couple of of days. Brian Stone responded.

5:59 p.m. – Vandalism- S. 4660 Rd. RP advised there is a tractor tearing up a private drive and she confronted him, and he started cursing her and headed back down the road. Allen Ramey responded.

6:57 p.m. – Trespassing- W. Leftwich- RP wants to speak with an officer about a continual problem with trespassers. David Garvin responded.

7:36 p.m. – Public Intoxication- Mill St.- RP advised of a possible intoxicated male walking in the area. David Garvin responded and made an arrest.

9:06 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle Hwy. 64 and 82- RP advised there is a dark-colored mini van with a tail light out on the driver’s side. The vehicle is running 110 mph and passing people in a no-passing zone. Craig Edgmon responded.

10:14 p.m. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd.- RP said there is a disturbance across the street between a female and a male who are yelling at each other. The female got into a white car and sped off shortly after. RP believes they heard a crash. Jeff Neighbors responded.

04/19/2025

1:54 a.m. – Accident- I-40 MM 297 Call transferred to OHP about a motorcycle accident. Bystander on the scene advised EMS is not needed. OHP called back for EMS, they need to be sent. Charles Webber responded.

5:14 a.m. – Disturbance- Hwy. 59 RP advised his son is intoxicated and trying to take the vehicle. Charles Webber and Jeff Neighbors responded.

12:23 p.m. – Welfare Check- Redland Rd.- RP advised there is a man lying on the side of the road. Jerry Brooks responded.

2:44 p.m. – Extra Patrol- Woodland and Sequoyah St.- RP would like for officers to drive the area and make their presence known. RP advised there were things going on that we needed to be looking out for. James Huggins and Chance Yoakum responded.

3:15 p.m. – Trespassing – W.W. Grocery- RP is requesting a deputy to come and trespass a male who was asked to leave yesterday. He is still hanging around at the store. CJ McGee and Justin Deuley responded.

4:03 p.m. – Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of N.W. 3rd St.- RP advised her house was broken into but nothing was taken. There are damages to the house. James Huggins and Chance Yoakum responded.

4:21 p.m. – Speak with Deputy Bordertown Auction- RP advised he went to the auction today and was bidding on an item and the auctioneer came up and whispered to another bidder who was bidding against the RP. RP believes that should not be able to happen and would like to speak with an officer. Chance Yoakum responded.

4:26 p.m. – Vandalism- S. Fargo St.- RP advised someone has hit her car with an egg while it was parked under her carport. She would like to speak with an officer and see if that is vandalism. James Huggins responded.

5:38 p.m. – Information- E. Shantel Smith Blvd.- RP advised that her husband is very confused and is parked on the side of the highway in a brown Ford. She is wanting a Muldrow officer to try and make contact with him. James Huggins and Chance Yoakum responded.

7:04 p.m. – Information- In the vicinity of S. 4590 Rd.- RP said a couple of kids on 4-wheelers are tearing up the property and one tried to run over the RP’s dog. The RP can now hear the kids mouthing and tearing up the property on the back side. Justin Deuley responded.

7:55 p.m. – Welfare Check- Hwy. 64 near Gans- RP advised there is a female wearing a jean jacket walking on the shoulder of the highway between Sallisaw and Gans screaming and yelling at people, and flipping people off. Justin Deuley responded.

8:05 p.m. – Vandalism- I-40 westbound rest area- RP advised when his semi was parked at the rest area on I-40 today, the airbags were cut. He is now in Tulsa and wants to make a report. Jeff Neighbors responded.

10:18 P.M. – Suspicious Vehicle Hwy. 17 and Taylor Dr.- RP advised there is a couple of 4-wheelers driving up and down the highway and Taylor Drive. Justin Deuley responded.

04/20/2025

12:29 a.m. – Welfare Check- S. Caddo- RP is wanting an officer to check on her baby daddy. He texted her at 3 a.m. yesterday saying that he needed help, and to come and get him. RP is unable to contact him and is requesting Sallisaw PD check the hotel room he was staying in. RP is wanting Muldrow to check a family member’s address. Andy McConohy responded.

1:02 a.m. – Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Fargo St.- RP advised they saw a kid standing on the corner on the first curve to the left, going up Flat Rock. RP advised the kid seems to be talking to himself. Andy McConohy responded.

2:01 a.m. – Disturbance- S.E. Apts.- Several RP’s, including the manager, have advised that a fight has broken out in one of the apartments. Andy McConohy and Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:16 a.m. – Suspicious Person- E. Shawntel Smith Blvd.- RP advised there is a lady at her front door rambling and talking out of her head. Andy McConohy responded.

10:03 a.m. – Other- Unknown Location- RP advised that someone is logging into their Facebook and sending bad messages to people. RP wants an officer to speak with them. Jerry Brooks responded.

1:07 p.m. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of Hwy. 10A- RP would like to speak to a deputy in regards to trespassers on a trailer belonging to the state. The trailer is boarded up but unknown persons have gone inside. Shane Petree responded.

5:49 p.m. Vandalism- Chestnut Cir.- RP advised his neighbor called and told him some children are playing baseball near his residence, and they broke a window. He would like someone to check it out. Mark Harkins responded.

6:39 p.m. – Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd.- RP wants to speak with a deputy regarding her neighbor that fenced in her garage without permission. RP said it is now causing problems. Jeff Neighbors responded.

9:59 p.m. – Suspicious Person Unknown Location- RP advised an unknown male is running around knocking on people’s doors and is now going north. Unknown clothing description, other than they are soaked. Brian Rutherford and Charles Webber responded.

04/21/2025

12:40 a.m. – Accident- W. Shawntel Smith Blvd.- RP advised that a motor vehicle crashed in someone’s yard. Chance Yoakum and Kevin Mackey responded.

6:38 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown Location- RP lives in another county and a family member has an item listed on Facebook Market and an individual in the Sallisaw area is trying to trade a pistol, marijuana and other items. The RP is unsure if they are stolen. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

7:51 a.m. – Speak with Deputy- Unknown Location- RP advised that someone who previously stalked them and had charges filed may possibly be contacting them under a fake name on a dating app. Allen Ramey responded.

8:19 a.m. – Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of N. McConnell- RP advised they just got home and their house smells like marijuana. They know their child has been smoking it and wants to know what they can do about it. Mark Harkins responded.

8:44 a.m. – Stolen Property- 5th St.- RP advised their spouse is a truck driver and was arrested last night. The keys to his truck were stolen and they have an air tag on them. They are showing up at this address. RP is wanting someone to go and try to get the keys. Tracy Christenberry responded.

9:51 a.m. – Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4758 Rd.- RP would like to speak to a deputy about the eviction process. Allen Ramey responded.

5:21 p.m. – Threats- In the vicinity of S.E. 6th St.- RP stated the neighbor is threatening them for doing yard work near the fence that separates the properties. Kevin Mackey and Richard Matthews responded.

8:22 p.m. – Threats- E. Cherokee Ave.- RP advised that an employee is threatening to take a vehicle that was bought on April 9 from Van Buren. Someone is on their way to get the keys. Tyler Engleman and Gary Adams responded.

8:27 p.m. – Vandalism- Cantwell’s Store- RP advised that someone has broken out the door of the hardware store. Kevin Mackey and Richard Matthews responded.

10:03 p.m. – Disturbance- Redbud Dr.- RP advised there is a deer screaming, he believes it may be getting spooked by an individual they were looking for earlier. Gore PD responded.

11:43 p.m. Traffic/Other- Pump Station Rd.- RP advised there is pickup on its side in the creek. Richard Scoggins, Gary Adams and Tyler Engleman responded.

11:48 p.m. – Disturbance- RP advised they can hear a male and female yelling and fighting in the pasture or possibly behind the old furniture store. Chancwe Yoakum and Richard Matthews responded.

11:55 p.m. – Stolen Property Roland PD- RP advised she is outside the PD and would like to make a report of a stolen sideby- side from the county. Gary Adams responded.
