Think on these things
Last night fireflies came to twinkle and wink among new green leaves. The wind had changed from warm south gusts to cooler air that had earlier produced hail. Rain ceased and darkness fell until the moon slipped from behind thinning clouds.

Nature played out a sequence from high winds that swished the treetops and cracked ice against the windows before everything quieted and a cold front chilled the air.
We may be intelligent beings but we go through almost the same process when it seems an unbearable circumstance blows over and life takes a more calm state of mind. Somewhere in there are tears and threats of damage but the beautiful fireflies remind us that they will return and they do— and we turn to a sweeter peace.
