Central eighth-graders win Checotah Invitational

CHECOTAH — The Central Lady Tigers eighth-grade track team won the Checotah Invitational, which took place April 15 at Ogle Field.

The foursome of Sara Williams, Sadie Huff, Gabby Randolph and London Prater won the 800-meter and 1,600-meter relays and were runner-up in the 400-meter relay.

Randolph won the 200-meter dash, Williams took gold in the 400-meter dash and Huff won first place in the 800-meter dash.

Prater was third in the 100-meter dash, while Howard was 24th in the 200-meter dash and 36th in the 100-meter dash.

Thilsted, McDonald and Tungate threw in the shot put and discus events.
