Former Vian player’s Eastern squad loses twice to Seminole State
HASKELL — Former Vian Lady Wolverines softball player Maisie Wells and the Eastern Oklahoma State College Lady Mountaineers lost both games of their regular-season finales, falling twice to Seminole State by scores of 9-0 in five innings and 3-0 on May 1.

In Game 1 against Seminole State, Wells was 1-for-3, while going hitless in three at-bats in Game 2.
In 50 games this season, Wells, who was named to the First-Team All-Region Softball Team, is batting .453 with eight doubles, three triples, six home runs, 20 runs batted in, 46 runs scored and 11 stolen bases.
