TULSA — The Oral Roberts University baseball team dropped their final home mid-week game of 2025 due to Cincinnati’s fast start by a final 10-2 on Tuesday night at Chapman Park.

Will Edmunson’s second four-hit game for the Golden Eagles (27-19) this season included driving in his 19th run. He has hits in 23 of his last 25 games.
The Bearcats (28-20) got going early and often, scoring five times in the opening frame, highlighted by Lauden Brooks’ three-run blast, to break it open early. The ’Cats would go on to add on a run in the second and fourth innings as well to take a 7-0 lead.
In the bottom of the fourth, the Golden Eagles got on the board with a RBI infield single from Edmunson and a RBI groundout from Owen Coil to make it 7-2 game.
In the sixth, the Bearcats got back on the board with another run while the ORU offense struggled to get anything going down the stretch. In the ninth inning, Cincinnati put it away with two runs.
Connor Johnson (1-4) suffered the loss, going 1.1 innings with two strikeouts. Keaton Ruthhardt came out of the bullpen in relief, going 3.2 innings, giving up just four hits, a run and striking out six.
The Golden Eagles will open their last home series at 6 p.m. today as they entertain the Northern Colorado Bears at Chapman Park.
