A safe holiday is an enjoyable holiday

Thursday, July 3

• Vian, Armstrong Park. Concert at amphitheater beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by fireworks. First time in Armstrong Park due to football field demolition.

• Barling (Ark.) City Park, Food vendors, activities and live entertainment, followed by fireworks.

Friday, July 4

• Sallisaw High School, Games and activities before the fireworks.

• Muldrow First Church of the Nazarene beginning at 7 p.m. Family fun and fireworks.

• Lake Tenkiller State Park, Blackgum Landing. Fireworks at dusk.

• Mayor’s Fourth of July Celebration, Harry E. Kelley River Park, Fort Smith (at U.S. 64 bridge) 5 p.m. Food vendors, live entertainment and fireworks over the Arkansas River.

• Spiro City Lake. Festive parade, fireworks at dusk.

• Van Buren Fireworks, Field of Dreams Sports Complex (I-40 at Lee Creek) beginning at 7 p.m.

• “Pig in the Park” festivities, Webbers Falls Park beginning at 7 p.m. Golf Cart parade, fireworks display at dusk.

• Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, Pocola. Fireworks at dusk.

• Freedom Fest, Barling Town Square beginning at 4 p.m.

Saturday, July 5

• Iron Mountain Festival & Freedom Celebration, Roland City Park. 4 p.m. Food vendors, crafts, giveaways, live music. Fireworks at dark.

• Firecracker Spectacular, Tri-State Speedway, Pocola. Food, live music and fireworks over Beaver Lake.

• Freedom Bash, Warner. Beginning at 12:30 p.m. Food trucks, vendors and car show. Cruise night at 6 p.m. Fireworks at dusk.
