Honoring those who preserved our freedom

When there are those unable to celebrate the Fourth of July — one of the nation’s most patriotic of holidays — then the festivities were brought to those who helped preserve our freedom. The City of Sallisaw spearheaded a drive-by Independence Day parade for residents at the Sallisaw Veterans Center, which included an appearance by Natalie Flute, Teen Miss Diamond Daze.
