Fishing Report for July 9, 2025

EUFAULA: July 4. Elevation is 5.5 feet above normal and falling. The water temperature is 80 degrees and murky. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits and plastic baits around channels, main lake, points and rocks. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids and white bass good on hair jigs, jigs and sassy shad below the dam, discharge and tailwater. Channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, live shad and shad below the dam, channels, river channel, river mouth and tailwater.
