5 Cowboys chosen in 2025 MLB Draft
ATLANTA — Oklahoma State slugger Nolan Schubart was selected in the third round of the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft Sunday night by the Cleveland Guardians.
OSU had four players picked on the final day of the MLB Draft, bringing their total for this year’s draft to five.
After Schubart was taken in the third round on Sunday, Sean Youngerman was the first to hear his name called Monday when Philadelphia selected the righthander in the fourth round with the 131st overall pick.
Up next was Gabe Davis, who was the first pick of the fifth round and went No. 137 overall to the Chicago White Sox. Harrison Bodendorf was a 10th-round selection by Cleveland, while Brayden Smith was taken in the 13th round by Baltimore.
