All-State Cheerleader

Roland cheerleader Madi Whisenant got the good news early last week that she was going to be among the lucky senior cheerleaders to be named to the East All-State Cheerleading Squad after a previously named All-State cheerleader did not show up. Whisenant, who signed a letter of intent with the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith on March 31, got to cheer at the All-State Girls Basketball Games on July 29 and the All-State Boys Basketball Games last Wednesday night, both at Memorial Veterans Arena at Tulsa Memorial High School, and last Thursday night’s All-State Football Game at Shawnee High School’s Jim Thorpe Stadium.
