Joy Thorp recognized as outstanding prosecutor

OKLAHOMA CITY — Joy Thorp, the first assistant district attorney for District 12 (Craig, Mayes and Rogers counties), recently received the Mitch Sperry Memorial Award for Outstanding Prosecutor. The presentation was made July 17 at the District Attorney Council Summer Conference. The award was first announced during an Oklahoma District Attorneys Association meeting.
