Chamber members tour VA

Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce members outnumbered residents at the Sallisaw Veterans Center by a 3 to 1 margin on Wednesday when the chamber conducted its monthly membership luncheon, which included a tour of the expansive veterans facility. But Rob Arrington, director of homes for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, knows the cur- rent 20 residents at the center located on U.S. 59 south of I-40 will soon be joined by more than another 150 residents.
