08/11/2025 – 08/18/2025

During the week of Aug. 11-18, 2025, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 24 animal calls, 416 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

08/11/2025

1:04 a.m. – Welfare Check – Hwy 100 by the Trout Stream – RP stated that there is a female in a pink shirt with a backpack walking in the roadway. Charles Webber responded.

1:49 a.m. – Disturbance – Bradley Ford – RP stated that he could hear shooting and screaming from the area. Information was given to Cherokee Marshals. They have marshals in the area. Justin Deuley and Cherokee Nation Marshal responded.

7:24 a.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of Hwy 100 – RP advised that he has not heard from his mother since Wednesday and he is requesting a welfare check on her. The caller hung up and did not provide any other information. Dispatch called the phone number and made negative contact with her. It was left on the KATS bus. 8:38 a.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of N Hwy 59 – Deputy advised of a male sitting in the ditch with his hands on his head. Daniel Whitus responded.

8:53 a.m. – Animal Out – In the vicinity of S Roland Rd – RP advised that her neighbor’s dogs keep getting out and the owners just let them run around without a leash. They tear up her yard and she has to clean it up. She has tried to get in contact with animal control for awhile and he has not done anything. Information given to Roland animal control. Roland PD responded.

10:25 a.m. – Argument – In the vicinity of Main St – RP advised that he and a person are having a verbal argument at the garage sale. Chris Waters responded.

10:29 a.m. – Animal Out – In the vicinity of S 4768 Rd – RP advised that she works for her uncle and the neighbor’s dog has gotten out and into his trash. They have made reports on this dog before. Allen Ramey responded.

11:40 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – Muldrow Sonic – RP said a brown Dodge Dakota in the drive thru with three underaged kids in the back drinking beer. At 11:44 they left headed westbound on 64. Riley Brooks responded.

11:55 a.m. – Information – Unknown Location – RP is a clerk at a gas station in Alma and advised yesterday, someone was asking for directions to the Alma Bottoms to go swimming and she and another male in the store thought it was strange because there is not a place to go swimming there. Allen Ramey responded.

1:24 p.m. – Information – Unknown Location – RP advised that she spoke with one of her friends who said that the missing juvenile has been talking to a guy for a week and they planned to go to Texas. She would like to speak to someone about it. Allen Ramey responded.

3:43 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of W Deveron – RP advised that someone hacked into her phone and has gotten pictures of her, and is threatening to post them on the internet. Austin – Blackfox responded.

5:36 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of E 1085 Rd – RP states that her neighbors have come into her house and stolen her clothes, her son’s clothes, and collective coins. She also states the neighbors have been harassing her all day, Gary Adams responded.

6:08 p.m. – Animal Bite – In the vicinity of Hwy 64B – RP reported someone’s dog has bitten someone in the residence, and they don’t know what to do. They don’t want an ambulance. Said the dog gets aggressive when they get loud and argue with the kids. Gary Adams responded.

6:10 p.m. – Information – E 980 Rd – RP advised that one of his employees called and said that he was done working for them, and that he was going to take the RP’s truck and leave the rest of the crew. This all happened in Cowetta. RP is wanting to file a stolen vehicle report, which he was advised that he would need to call the town where the truck was last at. The RP stated that he and the worker both live in Sequoyah County and the RP is in Tulsa. Tyler Engleman responded.

08/12/2025

12:11 a.m. – Animal-Other – Water Tower Rd RP called and asked for an officer to check the area for dogs barking continuously. She did not want to leave her name. Conner Sisson responded.

2:21 a.m. – Suspicious Person – Gans Git and Go – RP stated that there is a male sleeping by the door and she is afraid to go inside. She is the morning clerk. Gary Adams responded.

7:01 a.m. – Other – Arby’s – RP advised of an unknown male walking by the Arby’s flipping people off. Phone disconnected shortly after answering. Brandon Luper responded.

10:12 a.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of Hwy 82 – RP advised that her family is taking her mail out of her box at the post office and they are giving the key back and forth to each other. Micah Harvey responded. 11:09 a.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of S 4610 Rd – RP is requesting a welfare check on a male individual that lives at this residence. He advised that he has not seen him out and about recently, and his truck light is on and the grass is grown up. Daniel Whitus responded.

11:41 a.m. – Information – In the vicinity of E 1040 Rd – RP is wanting a family member trespassed from her house. She stated that they got into an argument last night and she would like him trespassed from her house. Austin Blackfox responded.

11:55 a.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of S Main St – RP advised that they had a little dispute/altercation last night and they thought they had it settled. But now they believe they may have retaliated because there is paint poured all over their trees and yard. Austin Blackfox responded.

12:30 p.m. – Complaint – Stage Coach Road – RP has a gate locked on the county road and they have a court order stating that they can’t block the road. Daniel Whitus and Austin Blackfox responded.

12:46 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of S Caddo – RP advised that his ex drove by in her Cadillac and threw a TV into his driveway. 1:39 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of Hwy 101 – RP advised that daily members are upset over property the RP is selling. They have been on the property and advised the auctioneer that they would be back to take the property. RP advised that a deputy trespassed them from the property three years ago. 2:48 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of S 4760 Rd – RP advised that her neighbor had moved out a couple of weeks ago and he came back today and is trying to cause problems. Allen Ramey responded.

3:20 p.m. – Domestic – Laundromat – RP reported a male is intoxicated and doing inappropriate things to another individual. Allen Robert, Micah Harvey and Mark Harkins responded and made an arrest.

5:12 p.m. – Information – Birch St – RP stated behind the school there is a refrigerator in someone’s yard. It is Meet the Teacher night and RP is concerned that a child may get locked in the fridge if the doors are not taken off. Richard Matthews responded.

5:27 p.m. – Traffic-Other – Hwy 64 WB – RP advised that a goldish colored older car is driving extremely slow and barely maintaining a lane. Steven Edwards responded.

6:35 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of SW 5th – RP stated that his ex has been harassing him for the last 3 to 4 days and entering his property without permission. She is there now. Richard Matthews responded.

6:55 p.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of Vian PD – RP stated that his neighbor has threatened him. This has happened previously and RP keeps stating he is going to shoot him. Travis Reed and Tyler Engleman responded.

7:48 p.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of E 1130 Rd – RP and her husband run an auction site, and travel and run auctions for individuals. RP stated that they held an online auction today for an individual and went to the property regarding a property dispute. RP is now receiving threats from one of those parties via text. She is unsure how they got her number. Gary Adams responded.

8:21 p.m. – Animal Out – In the vicinity of Addison Lane – RP advised of a small dog on his property being aggressive towards his grandson and daughter. He tried and run it off and it came after him when he turned to go inside. Bryce Landers responded.

8:31 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of E 1090 Rd – RP said a person has come on the property and left his four wheeler. RP would like to know if this can be considered an abandoned vehicle and they do not want it on the property. Austin Blackfox responded.

08/13/2025

12:02 p.m. – Domestic – In the vicinity of S Ash – RP advised that his parents are yelling at him and throwing their fists up at him. Brad Roberts and Riley Brooks responded.

2:06 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of S Main St – RP advised that they had to refer to a PT for an exploitation and they are needing to make a report due to the PT’s daughter stealing a large sum of money. Tracy Christenberry responded.

2:24 p.m. – Traffic-Other – In the vicinity of Gamma Circle – RP advised that their neighbor went off the road, hit their fence, and did quite a bit of damage. Isaias Ramirez responded.

6:30 p.m. – Suspicious Person – Bod Church – RP said there was a suspicious male standing in between Bod Church and the donut shop while the youth group is outside. Coby Phelps responded.

7:11 p.m. – Suspicious Person – Bod Church – RP stated that there is a male that looks to be homeless trying to set up personal belongings at the donut shop beside the church. Stated that he is yelling and making a scene while the youth group is outside. Cody Phelps responded.

7:32 p.m. – Animal-Other – In the vicinity of E Badger Lee – RP advised that his neighbor’s dog was chasing his cattle and he had to shoot the dog. Justin Deuley responded.

8:34 p.m. – Phone Call – Race Track – RP advised that there is a female at the race track and he thinks she is getting drugs from there. He is wanting to speak to a deputy. Charles Webber responded.

10:43 p.m. – Welfare Check – Hwy 64 near Sports Complex – RP stated that there was a male walking eastbound on the road waving his arms. He was wearing dark shorts and no shirt. Jeff Neighbors responded.

08/14/2025

12:09 a.m. – Missing Person – In the vicinity of E 1109 – RP called and wanted to file a missing person report on an individual. He was last seen this morning wearing a blue shirt and possibly sweats or jeans. The subject is known to normally go to Fort Smith. Jeff Neighbors responded.

1:26 a.m. – Assault – In the vicinity of S 4784 Rd – RP would like to make a report of being assaulted by her boyfriend’s family. Jeff Neighbors responded.

10:14 a.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of SW 9th St – RP advised that a backpack was taken out of her vehicle while she was at work. All that was in the bag was her checkbook but she is wanting to know if she should report it. Riley Brooks responded.

1:10 p.m. – Suspicious Person – S 4528 Rd RP advised there is a male sitting in a dark grey Toyota car with an Arkansas tag acting suspiciously. CJ McGee responded.

2:40 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In front of Rustic Bloom – RP advised there is a male subject with a dog sitting in front of the door on the side by the flower shop. RP would like him to be checked out. Riley Brooks and Ricci Pyle responded.

3:49 p.m. – Noise Complaint – Shamblin Trailer Park – RP advised that she is outside trying to make important phone calls and she cannot hear over her neighbor’s music. She would like to speak to a deputy. Justin Deuley and CJ McGee responded.

3:58 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafe – In the vicinity of E Cherokee – RP advised that her neighbor is shooting towards her residence and yelling. At 4:06 RP called back and stated that every time she tried to get to her car he started shooting and yelling. Allen Ramey and Brian Stone responded. 4:24 p.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of Hwy 54 – RP stated that he lives in the mobile home behind Kingdom Hall and there is a female in his front yard. He thinks she needs some kind of assistance. Allen Ramey responded.

5:45 p.m. – Complaint – In the vicinity of SW 3rd – RP wants to make a report about his ex putting air tags in his kid’s shoes and using them to follow and harass him. RP said this has been a problem before. Ricci Pyle responded.

6:20 p.m. – Traffic-Other – Pilot Store – RP stated that he was in his sleeper and another truck side -wiped him and hit his mirror. Blake Brunk responded.

6:52 p.m. – Welfare Check – Shady Lane, Headed East – RP stated there is a male wearing a black shirt and green shorts walking in the middle of the road and she wants him checked on. Blake Brunk responded. 7:25 p.m. – Other – Travel Plaza RP, a male subject, has called a couple of times and is just yelling, not making any sense. He called 911 and got a ping in this area. Ricci Pyle and Richard Matthews responded. 7:40 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of S 4707 Rd – RP said there has been people coming onto his property that he is leasing, they are on side-bysides and shooting guns. He has small kids and it is scaring them. He wants them to stay off of the property. Jeff Neighbors responded.

9:38 p.m. – Animal Out – In the vicinity of Roland Rd – RP wants to speak with an officer about her neighbors leaving the gate open and their husky dog coming into her yard and getting into her trash. Blake Brunk responded.

10:23 p.m. – Disturbance – Gardenwalk Apartments – RP called concerning subjects yelling across from her apartment and she could see a small child sitting outside on the porch. She believed they may have all went back inside but thought someone might check the area. Blake Brunk responded. 10:16 p.m. – Building Check – In the vicinity of E 1120 – RP called and thought she could hear something on her roof and was scared. She said it could just be an animal but believed someone had been there last night and wants a deputy to check. Jeff Neighbors responded.

08/15/2025

5:55 a.m. – Welfare Check – S 4650, North of Brushy School – RP reported a male subject laying in the ditch north of Brushy School by the day care, and felt they needed to be checked. Daniel Whitus and Hunter Hutchinson responded.

6:06 a.m. – Suspicious Person – Sequoyah Auto Sales – RP advised a female wearing dark shorts and shirt carrying a flashlight was in the lot. When RP pulled in, she ran off. RP circled the block and she was back in the lot. Chance Yoakum and Randal Hicks responded.

7:32 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of 4723 Rd – RP advised of a green Dodge pickup occupied by two men, they are at an abandoned house loading items into the truck. Allen Ramey and Daniel Whitus responded..

8:27 a.m. – Stone Quarry, Marble City – RP needs to report a car stolen he saw on his camera at 2 a.m. The car was left on his lot. The truck was a 2013 GMC Sierra, pearl white, Arkansas tag. It had a sprayer sitting in the back of the truck that said “weed free lawns.” Daniel Whitus responded.

1:23 p.m. – Harassment – Park View Apartments – RP said a person keeps knocking on her door and harassing her. She has told her not to be knocking on the door. Randy Taylor responded.

1:26 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of S 4547 Rd – RP advised that while he was in the office making a report regarding his ex using his card, she broke into his residence and took his belongings out, and damaged the door in the process. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:59 p.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of Inola Street – RP is wanting a welfare check on her neighbor. She stated that no one had seen or heard from her. Kevin Mackey and Ricci Pyle responded. 4:45 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of E 1120 Rd – RP stated a male dropped a trailer on her property and she has asked him several times to get it over the last three months and he would not. Now he is accusing her of stealing it because it is no longer on her property. Allen Ramey responded.

5:48 p.m. – Domestic – In the vicinity of Russell St – RP stated that a person and the RP were arguing and he broke her daughter’s toys and took off in a black Ford truck. Coby Phelps and Alex Cabrea responded. 6:30 p.m. – Altercation – In the vicinity of E Peoria – RP stated that she was in a verbal altercation with a male in a silver Toyota Corolla that was driving erratically. She threw a rock at him and the male exited the vehicle, pointed a gun at her and told her that she was going to jail. Then got in his vehicle and drove towards the dead end. She stated when he pulled away he hit her husband with his car. Husband is denying EMS, he was just knocked over, no injuries. RP is still in the roadway. Jarett Cannon, Colton Goff and Austin Blackfox responded and made an arrest.

7:16 p.m. – Disturbance – Roland Casino – RP stated that they had to cut off a male and he was uncooperative. He was wearing a green hat and cargo shorts. Cody Phelps and Richard Seabolt responded.

7:17 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of NE Brassfield St – RP advised that he was supposed to do a bike trade tonight. He decided not to do it and RP advised that the person showed up at his house. He needs an officer to come out. Ricci Pyle and Kevin Mackey responded.

10:56 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of S 4680 Rd – RP called and was requesting a ride to the bus stop. The call was obviously a disturbance. He said he was trying to leave the property and his wife was trying to stop him. He did say he had a gun but she took the gun back in the house. He was waiting for deputies out by the road. Gary Adams, Austin Blackfox and Jarett Cannon responded.

08/16/2025

1:18 a.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of E 1018 – RP advised she is receiving threats from an individual. RP advised the threats she is receiving is him telling he is on the way. Tyler Engleman responded.

1:26 a.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Taylor Dr – RP advised his neighbors downstairs are yelling and banging around. He wants an officer to check on them. Gary Adams, Cody Phelps and Richard Seabolt responded.

7:25 a.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of N Main, Ballfields – RP advised there is an unknown female holding a drink, standing partly in the roadway there at the guardrail by the ballfields. RP is wanting her welfare checked. Andy McConohy, Allen Ramey and Jerry Brooks responded and made an arrest.

10:23 a.m. – Animal-Other – In the vicinity of S 4531 Rd – RP advised for the last month and a half now, the neighbor’s vicious dogs keep coming onto the property and it is now causing altercations between them. They had an altercation last night regarding the dogs coming onto the property and going after the females on the property. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

10:28 a.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of S 4547 Rd – RP advised that she was living at a friend’s house and went to stay with her daughter for awhile. RP heard that they burnt her stuff last night and is on her way to the residence, but is an hour away and is wanting to speak with a deputy. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

3:30 p.m. – Animal-Other – Splash Pad – RP advised that someone brought their pit bull to the splash pad. Jerry Brooks responded.

3:49 p.m. – Welfare Check – Daycare and Main – RP reported an individual who appears to be slumped over in the driver’s seat. Allen Ramey responded.

3:30 p.m. – Missing Person – In the vicinity of SE 6th St – RP reported an individual left the residence last night very intoxicated and they have not heard from him since. He left everything at the residence. Kevin Mackey responded.

5:27 p.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of E 1018 Rd – RP advised his ex’s boyfriend is calling and threatening him. He needs to know what he can do. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

5:31 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of Carson Rd – RP stated that he has been receiving mail for an unknown individual but now the mail he is getting looks like he is trying to mortgage the property. Bryce Lander responded.

7:56 p.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of S Winn – RP stated that he was face timing his son and he has a black eye. RP would like a welfare check on him. Tyler Engleman responded.

8:36 p.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of S 4650 Rd – RP advised that a male with long silver hair and a backpack was standing at the end of his driveway staring at his residence. RP drove out and told the man to “go on and get.” The man then began threatening the RP and cussing at him and was last seen walking south towards 64 and 4550 Rd. RP called back and advised that the male went back home. He would like to make a report sometime tomorrow. Austin Blackfox responded.

8:36 p.m. – Noise Complaint Ridge Route Rd – RP advised that there is someone staying at a residence and they are making lots of noise all throughout the night. RP would like someone to drive out the area and advise them to keep it down if it continues throughout the night. Tyler Engleman and Craig Edgmon responded.

8:39 p.m. – Fight in Progress Hwy 64B Main, Muldrow – RP informed a deputy of a truck stopped at the main stop light and there are 20 to 30 people fighting. The deputy then advised there appears to be an accident and a female with an arm injury. Cody Parkerson, Chance Yoakum, Brad Roberts and Richard Matthews responded.

9:50 p.m. – Traffic Stop – Hwy 64 and Industrial Park Rd – RP stated that someone threw a rock and it busted the windshield. Gary Adams and Chance Yoakum responded.

10:26 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of E 978 Rd – RP stated that he had some campers on his property and a fight broke out. Parties are separated but he would like a deputy. Craig Edgmon and Tyler Engleman responded.

10:44 p.m. – Traffic-Other – Dollar Store – RP is a worker and advised there are vehicles parking in the handicapped spots in front of the door. They are refusing to leave and are drinking. Muldrow PD, Chance Yoakum and Isaac Prater responded.

11:08 p.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of 980 and 983 Rd – RP advises possible parties or fights at the old laundromat in Nicut. RP advised he is at a residence in the area and hears a female screaming. Gary Adams responded.

11:42 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Commanche Loop – RP stated that the neighbors are throwing fireworks out of the house and they are landing on the RP’s property. Chris Davis and Richard Seabolt responded.

08/17/2025

4:05 a.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Park View Apartments – RP advised someone was knocking on her door and had the peephole covered. Towards the end of the call RP advised they are no longer knocking and the peephole is uncovered. RP does not want contact, she would just like the officer to check the area. Conner Sisson responded.

9:00 a.m. – 911 – High School Parking Lot – RP said they dispatched an ambulance to the Muldrow High School parking lot to a female giving birth. Jerry Brooks responded.

11:14 a.m. Disturbance – Dollar General – RP advising a man had come into the store and grabbed some items and ran out the door. An officer was advised to the location, she was en route to the man who got into a grey Ford truck and pulled out, going north from the Dollar General. She checked the area and was not able to locate. RP advised that if he comes back he wants the subject to be trespassed. Anna Males responded.

1:07 p.m. – Stolen Property – Flat Rock Rd – RP advised that a male subject flagged him down at the PD and advised that a person took his keys and would not give them back. This happened somewhere on Flat Rock Rd. Roy Coleman responded.

5:12 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of S 4445 Rd – RP advised that he went to a birthday party and when he got home, his house had been broken into and he was missing three guns, $100 and pills. CJ McGee responded.

6:38 p.m. – Information – Dollar General, Indian Road – RP advised that she was at the store and wanted two cans of Vienna sausages and there were none on the shelf. So, she opened the 6-pack that was on the shelf and when she went to check out, they charged her for two 6-packs. When she noticed what had happened, she told the clerk what she had done and the manager confronted her and stated that she was a thief. He refused to give her a refund. Tyler Engleman responded.

9:53 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of Hwy 141 – RP advised that their neighbors do not stay at the residence and that there is someone inside with a flashlight. When RP drove By there, the light cut off and then RP went home and called. There is a gold Chevy S10 that is always at the residence. Gary Adams, Austin Blackfox and Tyler Engleman responded.

11:07 p.m. – Stolen Property – Cheyanne’s – RP wants to remain anonymous and would like to report a man in a silver Hummer H3 attempting to steal an excavator in between Cheyanne’s and one of the other businesses. Gary Adams responded.

08/18/2025

5:37 a.m. – Welfare Check – Mercy Clinic – RP advised there is a homeless individual wearing a black shirt and a ball cap sleeping in the parking lot. Brandon Luper responded.

7:55 a.m. – Animal Out – In the vicinity of Hwy 59 – RP wants to know what she can do about her

9:14 a.m. – Other – Hwy 64 – RP reported there was a female throwing rocks and debris onto Hwy 64. She is walking towards Roland. Riley Brooks responded.

1:56 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of S 4670 Rd – RP advised that she went to her mailbox and someone had put a dead pigeon in her mailbox. Brian Stone responded.

2:22 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Hwy 64 – RP advised that her neighbors torment her and they have now bought a drone and were shining it in her house. She would like to speak with a deputy. Brian Stone responded.

6:12 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Hwy 59 – RP stated that he sold a house and drove by and now there are squatters living there. He wants to speak to a deputy regarding what can be done. Justin Deuley responded.

7:51 p.m. – Suspicious Person WB on 64 in the EB lane – RP advised that a male subject knocked on his grandmother and sister’s door. He said that he was looking for a Walmart bag. Richard Matthews and Kevin Mackey responded.

10:01 p.m. – Suspicious Person Pilot – RP advised that a subject in a white Dodge truck tried to get her co-worker at the mall. The co-worker came back and they followed her, tried to get another lady. Blake Brunk, Bryce Landers and Richard Seabolt responded.

10:06 p.m. – Prowler – In the vicinity of E 1010 – RP stated that there was something outside of the residence banging on the house. They went outside and saw a very tall figure on the northeast side. This has happened the last two nights. The back light has been hanging down like something tried to take it down. 11:09 p.m. – Welfare Check – In the vicinity of Math Lane – RP is wanting a welfare check on a family member who is staying in an addition of the house with another family member who cut her electric and will not let her use the rest of the house. Bryce Landers, Richard Seabolt and Blake Brunk responded.

11:16 p.m. – Prowler – Family Dollar – RP stated that there was a male in a black shirt and shorts who was walking around the building and trying to open the side door of the building. He is currently standing at the tracks. Charles Webber responded.
